Bodyguards quickly tried to pull her out of the car, but she shouted, "Keanu! I'm your divine wife!" and started running away from the bodyguards. Even as the car started moving, the woman didn't give up. The bodyguards struggled to keep her away from the car as she tried to open the door. According to witnesses, surrounding fans were shocked by the woman's actions and the bodyguards' rough handling of the situation.
Reportedly, this woman is well-known around gossip sites. She has frequently sent emails claiming to be Keanu's wife. Gossip account 'deuxmoi' recently reported receiving an email allegedly from the woman stating, "We fired Keanu's management team! I will be Keanu's management team within the next two weeks! We will soon move into a new house together, and I will take over."
The email also contained content defaming artist Alexandra Grant, with whom Keanu is in a relationship, stating, "Keanu's management team isn't doing their job and continues to forgive Alexandra Grant for blackmailing him." The email concluded with, "Keanu no longer needs his management team! We raise our voices!" and was signed as Keanu's wife.
There is a growing number of cases like this woman, where parasocial relationships, involving one-sided feelings of friendship or intimacy with celebrities or influencers, become severe, leading individuals to believe they are in a romantic relationship with the celebrity.
