An unexpected connection was revealed on SBS's entertainment show, 'Our Ballad'.

Singers Jeremy and Lee Ji-hoon were revealed to have been members of the same choir in the past.

During the broadcast on October 28th, the two faced each other in a one-on-one battle, creating a subtle tension mixed with familiarity from the start.

Before the battle, they took a commemorative photo together, sharing laughter. This prompted the Top 100 Judges to ask, "Are you two acquainted?"

"Could you be from Ochuba?"... A Surprise Reunion After 8 Years

Lee Ji-hoon responded with a smile, "Actually, when I saw the name Jeremy on the list, I wondered if it was the Jeremy I knew. So, I asked the writer, 'Could he be from Ochuba?' and they said it was."

He added, "We were in the same choir 8 years ago," mentioning that they had reunited after 5 years since their choir activities.

Back then, they were 'best friends' who practiced and prepared for performances together, always looking out for each other.

"Who Sings Better?" Playful Chemistry Between Close Friends

Even during their choir days, the two playfully competed, jokingly arguing about who sang better. On the show, Lee Ji-hoon laughed, saying, "Jeremy was shorter back then, but his passion was immense."

Jeremy retorted, "Now I've grown more. Honestly, Ji-hoon hyung had a lot of knowledge and sang with feeling back then, but now my taste might be more sophisticated."

Their banter filled the set with laughter.

The broadcast also featured a video of the two performing together in the choir.

In the video, Jeremy and Lee Ji-hoon held hands, singing with bright smiles. The Top 100 Judges were delighted, commenting, "They're a real top duo. Their faces are the same. Jeremy just got taller!"

The two then performed 'Golden Star', a duet they sang during their choir days, filling the studio with warm applause.

Despite the passage of time, their friendship, connected through music, still shone brightly.

Coexistence of Emotion and Competition... Lee Ji-hoon is the Winner

In the battle, Lee Ji-hoon sang Park Sang-tae's 'If I Were Like You', while Jeremy sang Yoo Jae-ha's 'Gloomy Letter'.

Although they captivated the audience with their different emotions and styles, the goddess of victory favored Lee Ji-hoon.

Lee Ji-hoon, who secured his spot in the next round, said, "I was really happy to be on stage with Jeremy," and Jeremy added, "It was touching to hear hyung's song. I sincerely congratulate you," ending the show on a heartwarming note.

The two's connection, rekindled through music, showcased a moment of genuine musical exchange beyond competition.
