SEOUL FOOD started in 1983 as the Korea International Food Technology Exhibition.
It is the largest B2B food exhibition in Korea.
The status of 'SEOUL FOOD' is remarkable, and I was truly amazed by the experience!
Representing Korea and Asia, this global food industry exhibition attracts food-related companies from both domestic and international markets.
Each booth had its unique character, with many participants and visitors, ranging from culinary students to buyers from around the world.
Exhibitors showcased their flagship products and new items, with tasting opportunities available.
I tried samples at several booths, and everything was delicious!
There were also 'rice shows' and many foreign companies participated.
Comfortable resting areas were available for attendees.
It took nearly two hours just to explore Hall 1, while students also visited Hall 2.
The reason for the participation of food-related companies is primarily for export opportunities.
Business consultations were held at each booth, with many discussing export expansion and global networking.
The exhibition featured engaging events where general visitors could participate and win fantastic giveaways.
Cooking competitions were also held, with judging in progress.
The food industry here has no distinction between large and small companies; everyone promoted their new products.
Over the past 40 years, it has evolved from a simple exhibition into a platform that connects industries.
The participating companies ranged from well-known domestic brands to emerging startups.
Products included agricultural goods, livestock, dairy, food ingredients, health foods, beverages, wines, processed foods, frozen foods, condiments, and more.
Recently, the global K-food craze is booming, with K-FOOD at its center.
Through the SEOUL FOOD exhibition, the Korean food industry continues to grow.
As I left KINTEX, I thought about wanting to participate in the 2027 SEOUL FOOD.
Delicious Korean foods are making their way to the world!
