Originally, I mostly departed from Incheon Airport Terminal 1, but recently I've been using Terminal 2 quite a bit!

So today, I’m recommending two great restaurants at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 that are perfect for a meal after arriving. One is a Korean restaurant that I love, and the other is a 24-hour snack bar.

Both of these places are located on the basement level of Incheon International Airport Terminal 2. They are conveniently situated for a meal before catching the airport bus or subway.

1. Hansik Sodamgil

Operating Hours: 06:00 - 22:00

This restaurant specializes in Korean cuisine, as the name suggests. It’s also the closest place to the entrance for the subway and airport bus!

This is one of my favorite spots at Incheon Airport Terminal 2, similar to a food court with various Korean restaurants.

The menu is quite diverse, and the interior is spacious. You can store your luggage outside while you enjoy your meal.

I’m a big fan of Korean food, especially spicy soups. Therefore, the dish I crave right after returning from a trip is often sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew). It was delicious here!

Alternatively, the kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) at Hansik Sodamgil is also good. However, I personally prefer doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) since I'm not too fond of sour flavors.

On my most recent trip back from abroad, I chose kimchi jjim (braised kimchi) here.

They provide scissors and tongs, along with side dishes like seaweed, making it a filling meal.

This is the dolsot bibimbap (stone pot rice) that my friend ordered. No matter how much we ate in Japan, we still crave Korean food; we are Korean to the core!

My friend also wanted cold noodles, so we quickly ordered another one.

With such a wide variety of menu options at Hansik Sodamgil, there's plenty to choose from!

2. Byeolmi Bunsik

Open 24 Hours

As a fan of Korean cuisine, there’s one dish I must have after returning from overseas: tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)!

What’s great about this restaurant at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 is that it’s open 24 hours, so you can go anytime!

The menu includes light meals like kimbap (rice rolls), tteokbokki, donkatsu (fried pork cutlet), and ramen, making it a convenient stop.

Whether it’s early morning or late at night, it seems to be a popular choice among airport staff and crew members.

At Byeolmi Bunsik, you can conveniently order from a kiosk without needing to go to the counter.

As someone who works at Incheon Airport, I sometimes grab kimbap for a quick meal.

The interior is quite clean since it was recently renovated, and it has a cute and cozy decor typical of snack bars.

There’s plenty of space and seating available!

Since I visited with a friend for a hearty lunch, we ordered three dishes from the Byeolmi Bunsik menu.

The plates and trays are all adorable!

As I mentioned at Hansik Sodamgil, I prefer spicy soups among Korean dishes, and I’m not a fan of greasy fried foods...

However, my friend enjoyed the donkatsu, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was.

But what I liked most was the kimbap. Byeolmi Bunsik uniquely tops it with dried squid, which wasn’t to my taste; I prefer plain tuna kimbap.

Lastly, I can’t forget the tteokbokki. The portion was just right, not overwhelming, and it had the classic flavor that I enjoyed thoroughly.

Being open 24 hours is a significant advantage, so I plan to visit again!

This concludes my review of the restaurants at Incheon Airport Terminal 2.

Both places offer great taste and value, making them perfect stops before heading to the bus or subway after arrival.
