For some reason, my everyday life posts get more attention than my interior design, travel, or performance reviews.

Turns out, it's because my daily ramblings ended up on the blog's recommended tab.

It's nice to get a reaction, but I also don't like it (what's my deal?!).

If you think reading my blog gives you the whole picture of who I am...

You're mistaken!

So, I'd prefer my daily life stuff *not* be on the recommended tab.

Maybe feature some of my interior design or travel posts, okay Naver Blog overlords?

Hot, then scorching, then a sudden drop...

Sweltering heat, then rain, then scorching again, then more rain.

Just pick a lane, weather!

Will I have to strip to stop this fight...?

Movie Time

I watched movies diligently on my day off. In three parts, as usual...

I wanted to turn on the projector, relax with chips and beer, and watch a gloomy, unsettling movie.

But after catching up on all the house cleaning and laundry I'd been putting off, I didn't have the energy to set up the projector.

So, I guess I'll just fire up my MacBook ~

And then spend an hour scrolling through Watcha before finally picking something.

And what did I watch? 'Some Like It Hot,' starring Marilyn Monroe.

Suddenly, I'm obsessed with the classics.

I asked a friend to recommend some depressing movies, and they kept coming, so reassuring.

From my friends (self-proclaimed ?trash-movie connoisseurs),

I got a bunch of recommendations for awful movies that'll make you feel terrible.

Now that I am back from my trip, I'll be watching those kusoge movies all of September,

for healing purposes.

Like High Kick Through the Roof;;

Composed Coffee was giving out Kuromi cup holders as a Sanrio collaboration, so I got one. On the way home, a cute elementary school kid who looked like Bbangku-ddongkku (a popular meme) shouted at me asking if it was a Kuromi cup holder, so I thought of my younger sibling and gave it to him. Ah, my sibling was really, really cute when he was little.

Maybe you can say you've become a true adult when you can readily give something cute away...(or not?)

Watermelon Bingsu

I take out bingsu after work.

Watermelon bingsu is better than strawberry bingsu (though my favorite bingsu of all time is still the strawberry bingsu I had in Asakusa last year).

The taste varies wildly depending on the quality of the watermelon,

But it gets pretty good if you add condensed milk + soda.

Cool Under the Bridge

I sat with my mom and passed the time.

Cheonggyecheon Stream is Always Good

I want to live in front of Cheonggyecheon Stream, not the Han River.

I was crossing to buy coffee when a man in front of me started singing.

Is that how I look when I sing while riding my bike?

Exhausted Worker

Hard labor is tough...

When will we ever be able to quit working?

Drinks with Mom

We used to relax at home with beer, wine, or makgeolli from time to time,

But this year, my mom and I haven't been home together much, so we haven't had time to drink together either.

Just staring blankly at the empty refrigerator . . .

My sibling is coming in September, so I'm going to use my relief money to make the ultimate sukiyaki.

And open a proper bottle of alcohol.

That's what my daily life used to be like.

How did things get like this?

Midnight Playground

I haven't been listening to the Anpanman song lately,

But listening to it again after a long time makes me feel like I'm home.

Tadaima (I'm home)

Okaeri (Welcome home)

Started Drawing Rehabilitation Too

Love goggles on

Sorry, but to me, Dio is really super handsome

I forgot how to do detailed sketches.

I don't even know how to finish a drawing anymore.

The hand that draws has deteriorated.

Rehab also needs someone to force me to do it.

It's hard to draw out of love alone anymore.

Too Much

I got addicted to that emoticon and used it a lot, but everyone hates it so much.

Enjoyable...

Soaked to the Bone

It definitely wasn't raining in Seoul,

But when I got home, a downpour started pouring.

Ugh, almost home.

My house is a five-minute run away.

Got a Haircut

My hair is hopelessly thick and straight, so it's hard to cut,

And the stylist always struggles to thin it out.

But I was short on time after work today, so I asked her to cut it in an hour.

Thankfully, she said it was possible, so I intentionally didn't talk much, even though I usually have a lot of small talk with her when I come to get my hair cut.

Oh, I did say one thing. I went to Fuji this time. Oh~~

Actually, it all started because this stylist said Fuji Rock was her dream, and I actually went.

I'm really amazing..

More Stream Time

When I came to Cheonggyecheon Stream near City Hall,

They were doing some kind of outdoor library.

It was evening, but the sunlight was still quite strong, yet many people were sitting there.

I took a peek at what books they had,

And they were more about money... how to save money.

Didn't even touch them...

When Does Summer End?

It's Hot Even Under the Bridge

I hope this heat goes away,

But I might miss it once it's completely gone.

Is This Too Much Me?

I recently retook the MBTI test,

And for some reason, instead of the INTP I always got, I got INFJ-INTJ. (T and F seem to be 50/50).

I thought I was living as I pleased,

But I guess I do plan everything out and then move.

Is INTJ Right?

Well, I did roughly plan out this trip too.

I roughly decided where to go and what to eat.

What to do is...I'll decide after checking the content when I get there! lol

First, I'm going to try the lamb skewers that are famous at Fuji Rock and Love Shower, but they won't be selling them when I go.

Went to Busking

I'm jealous because this ikemen can even sing well.

Give me the chance to be a Japanese citizen.

Blonde Tanned Delinquent

I wanted to strike up a conversation, but I couldn't, so I just sent KayaYou a barrage of DMs.

But there are a truckload of women like me...

????

Friend's Hamster

I gave my old rat house to my friend

The n-th hamster already entered that house.

My friend who is like an angel who saves abandoned rats

Gained Weight Well

I felt good when I smelled the hamster smell at my friend's house after a long time.

I don't have the guts to raise them again, but

I think it's good to go see rats like this sometimes

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
