On April 12th, in celebration of Library Day, let me introduce you to the recently opened Gangdong Central Library located in Gangdong-gu!
Opened on August 31 last year, this new library boasts the largest scale among the district libraries in Seoul and features a clean and pleasant environment.
Designed for accessibility, it has become a multi-cultural space that anyone can comfortably use.

The Gangdong Central Library is located next to greenery and walking paths.

Nearby is the first-floor café, Café Suite, which offers a space to relax while enjoying simple beverages and reading.
The second floor features Open Reading Room I, focusing on humanities, philosophy, and art.
There are laptop spaces by the windows, along with accessible search desks and reading facilities for individuals with disabilities.
Open Reading Room II on the third floor focuses on culture and history.
The library provides tablet rentals for accessing digital materials.
There is a designated space for quiet study and focused activities.
