Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival: Daereungwon Stone Wall Path

The Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival is a must-visit event in the spring of 2026.
As a 2026 Gyeongju SNS supporter, I am excited to share my first post about this beautiful festival.
The festival, known as the '2026 Gyeongju Daereungwon Stone Wall Path Festival', is one of the most anticipated events of the year.
Having moved to Gyeongju, the cherry blossom season has been something I eagerly awaited, and it is finally approaching.
While Gyeongju is filled with cherry blossom spots, the most famous one is undoubtedly the Daereungwon Stone Wall Path.
Just as Deoksugung Stone Wall Path in Seoul is known for its charm, the atmosphere of the Daereungwon Stone Wall Path is indescribably beautiful.
Let's take a look at some photos from previous years to capture the overall vibe.
The Daereungwon Stone Wall Path Festival is tentatively scheduled for late March to early April, although the exact dates have not yet been confirmed.
Last year's festival ran from April 4th (Friday) to April 6th (Sunday), so we can expect a similar timeframe this year.
The festival dates will be officially announced around early March, in line with the peak cherry blossom bloom.
The location of the festival is, of course, near the Daereungwon Stone Wall Path.
For those new to Gyeongju, this area is considered the hottest spot in the city.
Hwanglidangil Street is nearby, and just across the street is Geumlidangil. Walking along the stone wall path will lead you to Cheomseongdae and Gyeongju Wolseong.
This festival is held in the heart of Gyeongju, making it a must-see event.
The festival will feature various attractions, including street performances, a variety of food options at the 'Stone Wall Path Restaurant', and play areas for children.
There will be a 'Cherry Blossom Viewing Room' where visitors can enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music in a tranquil atmosphere while appreciating the blossoms.
I'm genuinely looking forward to this festival.
Having lived in Gyeongju for about eight months and experiencing all four seasons, spring is the season I am most excited about.
Imagining the beautiful scenery of Gyeongju adorned with cherry blossoms fills me with anticipation.
I hope many people visit Gyeongju in the spring to enjoy this vibrant festival.
