Next to the forest culture and recreation center at Bongsu Mountain Natural Recreation Forest, a rest area is created in the pine forest, making it ideal for taking a break and strolling. Sitting on the picnic tables in the rest area, the phytoncides made my mind feel at ease.
This is the mountain observatory where you can see Yedang Lake between the pine trees.
The Yedang Lake, visible in the distance, is an artificial lake that began construction in April 1928 but was halted during the Japanese colonial period. Construction resumed in December 1952 and was completed in December 1964. It is now a popular tourist destination.

In particular, the pine forest of Yesan Bongsu Mountain Recreation Forest not only cleans the air but also kills harmful bacteria in the air, creating clean air.
