Embrace the Autumn Breeze at Gimhae's Seonakdong River Trail Pampas Grass Fields

While the autumnal equinox (Ipchu) has passed, the daytime sun still carries a summer's warmth, and the lingering energy of midsummer hasn't completely faded away.
Yet, in the gentle breezes, you can gradually sense the changing of the seasons.
Around this time of year, the soft, feathery 'Pampas Grass', reminiscent of reeds, naturally comes to mind.
Blooming at the intersection of summer's end and autumn's beginning, it heralds the arrival of fall.
Today, we're introducing a place in Gimhae where you can fully experience the beauty of autumn: the Pampas Grass fields along the Buram-dong Seonakdong River Trail.
Every year, from mid-August to early October, the Buram-dong Seonakdong River Trail is filled with Pampas Grass blooming along the riverbanks.
As a representative plant of autumn, when the softly blooming Pampas Grass sways in the breeze, you can feel the long summer coming to an end and the transition into autumn.
The Seonakdong River Trail is a scenic walking path stretching approximately 1.8km from Sikman Bridge to the entrance of the Sineosan Mountain Trail.
The path is mostly flat with minimal inclines, making it easy for anyone to walk, and it's a relaxed course even for those with strollers, bicycles, or pets.
Benches and pavilions are conveniently placed along the way, perfect for taking a break and enjoying a leisurely time.
There's nothing quite like enjoying a refreshing walk, capturing the shimmering sunlight reflecting off the Seonakdong River and the gently waving Pampas Grass.

⛅During the day, the sun-kissed Pampas Grass sways in the breeze, creating a romantic atmosphere with its silvery waves.
The tranquil waves of the Seonakdong River stretching beyond it add to the peaceful and serene scenery.
🌇 Around sunset, the river, sky, and Pampas Grass are all bathed in the light of the setting sun, creating a picturesque scene.

Pampas Grass is native to the plains of South America and typically grows to be 1-3 meters tall, sometimes exceeding 4 meters.
Thanks to its impressive height, just standing among the lush, tall Pampas Grass allows anyone to become the star of a stunning photo shoot!
Take a quick selfie or enjoy a leisurely stroll and capture memorable photos filled with the atmosphere of the season.

Gimhae International Airport is located near the Seonakdong River Trail, so you can often see airplanes passing overhead during your walk.
Being able to admire the airplanes from various angles adds another layer of enjoyment to the walk!
In particular, capturing a photo that frames the Pampas Grass, the river, and an airplane crossing above creates a uniquely charming and sentimental shot, making it a popular photo spot.

The Gangbyeon Eel Town is located near the Seonakdong River Trail.
Gangbyeon Eel Town is a collection of restaurants that sell 'Buram Eel', one of Gimhae's Nine Tastes.
As many restaurants have settled here, emotional cafes have naturally taken their places as well.
Before or after your walk, stop by Gangbyeon Eel Town, enjoy the riverside view, and indulge in a delicious meal and a relaxing coffee break!
