Discovering Bogle House: A Hidden Gem in Ikseon-dong

I've found my secret beer hideout in Ikseon-dong! ๐
I've had this place saved for quite a while, and I can't believe it took me so long to visit.
Let me introduce you to a place I regretted not visiting sooner! ^^*
If you're a beer lover, this is a must-visit spot in Seoul's craft beer scene, located in Jongno 3-ga.
Hereโs my review of Bogle House :)
**Bogle House**
* Location
6 minutes on foot from Anguk Station (Exit 4)
7 minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station (Exit 7)
* Operating Hours
Daily from 4 PM to 11:55 PM
* Amenities
Wi-Fi available inside the establishment
Restroom (unisex) available inside
Bogle House is conveniently located just 6 minutes from Anguk Station and 7 minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station. It's close to Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, making it perfect for exploring the area.
**Exterior**
This is the exterior of Bogle House, located on the first floor of the building. Why is it bright outside when I went for beer? Because Iโm a happy beer enthusiast who doesn't mind an early start for a good brew! *^^*
**Interior**
The interior of Bogle House features black walls with soft lighting creating a cozy atmosphere. (Itโs brighter during the day, as you can see.)
You can make reservations through Catch Table, and on the day I visited, there were groups who had made reservations for beer and snacks. There are also bar seats available for solo drinkers.
With plenty of witty decor around, youโll find yourself smiling as you explore this beer hideout. Feel free to suggest some upbeat music!
**Amenities**
Next to the entrance, thereโs a self-service bar with water, cups, napkins, and hot sauces available. The Wi-Fi password is on the ordering QR code (blurred for privacy). The restroom is conveniently located next to the beer fridge, complete with soap and hand cream. Itโs clean and well-maintained!
**Menu**
(Visited in early February 2026)
Hereโs a look at the draft and bottled beers from Bogle House, a representative of Ikseon-dong's craft beer scene. There are some exciting names on the menu!
But this place doesnโt just serve beer! You can enjoy a variety of drinks including highballs, cocktails, whiskey, and traditional liquors. Choose your drink according to your taste.
Although I was recommended the mac and cheese and nachos, I craved chicken that day, so I ended with chicken and beer. Iโll definitely return soon to try the other dishes!
**Chin Chin!**
8,500 KRW
This is Bogle House's own brew, Chin Chin. To sum it up, it has a balanced flavor that feels fruity and lager-like, with hints of floral notes. This is what beer should taste like!
**Bong Mi Up!**
8,000 KRW
Another house specialty, Bong Mi Up! has a refreshing aroma of Hallabong citrus. If youโre looking for a crisp beer, this is it!
**Asahi**
9,000 KRW
If you think Asahi isnโt that great, please try it just once. I ordered it with the same thought, but it was far better than what I had in Japan!
**Chicken Tender Soy & Pepper**
13,000 KRW
I went for the classic Korean combination of chicken and beer. The crispy chicken tenders come with a soy sauce and pepper seasoning, accompanied by crunchy celery and mayo sauce. Itโs tasty and satisfying!
**Final Thoughts**
In my opinion, Bogle House is the top beer spot in Ikseon-dong. Iโm definitely planning to revisit. If youโre in the Jongno 3-ga area and craving beer, this is the place to go. Cheers!
