Ascending over 927m at a 23-degree angle, the ride offers a stunning perspective of the mountain's cliffs and ridges. During peak foliage season, the cable car operates every 5 to 10 minutes to accommodate the many visitors eager to witness what is often called a "miniature Geumgangsan."
The cable car journey takes approximately 5 to 6 minutes, with adult fares set at ₩16,000 for a round trip. As you glide over the forest, the yellow and red leaves extend a warm welcome, showcasing the awe-inspiring power of nature that has shaped these rocks over countless years.
Thrilling Landmarks: Geumgang Suspension Bridge and Samsun Stairs
Crossing Korea's First Suspension Bridge
After disembarking from the cable car, a 10-minute climb leads to the famous Geumgang Suspension Bridge. Connecting Imgeum Rock and Ipseok Rock, this 50m long bridge hangs 81m above the ground.
