Hello! Today, I am excited to share a special travel story in Wanju with our unique storyteller, Geebuki.
This journey features our friends who are eager to escape their boring daily lives!
It all started with a special invitation to break free from the mundane.
As the friends sat in their room, yawning and saying, "Today is so boring," Geebuki, with an extraordinary presence, opened the door and appeared!
"Did you know there was a place like this in Wanju?"
How about a new workation experience in Wanju?
Geebuki's eyes sparkled as he began to tell the story of Daesung Hanji Village, a hidden treasure in Wanju.
Excitement filled the air as the friends anticipated their new adventure.
A journey combining tradition and nature was just what they needed!
Finally, the adventure began! Following Geebuki, they walked along the mountain paths of Wanju, filled with fresh air and excitement in every step.
On their way to the village, they encountered the mulberry tree! The fuzzy fruits and bark were the beginnings of the paper they use every day—what a fascinating discovery!
Upon arriving at the Daesung Hanji Village exhibition hall, they were amazed by the resilience of Hanji paper, which lasts a thousand years, and the wisdom of their ancestors.
Now it was time to create! They focused on the traditional paper-making experience, feeling the texture of tradition at their fingertips.
Ta-da! Here is the Hanji they crafted with care. Adding the symbol of Wanju made it a truly magnificent piece.
After a day of hard work, it was time to fill their bellies at Soyang Sundubu Village.
The warm and savory stew filled with soft tofu and egg was a delightful treat that washed away the fatigue of their travels.
After their delicious meal, the friends gazed at the beautiful sunset in Wanju and remarked, "If we were here, every day would feel like a vacation!"
As their joyful journey came to an end, Geebuki and the friends realized that this day would be a cherished memory for a lifetime.
