The 7th Carp Festival, a representative regional event of Iseo-myeon, Wanju-gun, was successfully held at the lawn plaza of the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation. This two-day festival brought the community together with a variety of engaging programs, ranging from thrilling bare-handed fishing to creative cooking contests, celebrating the unique local culture of Wanju.
Visitors of all ages immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere, enjoying magic shows, resident performances, and a diverse food zone featuring fresh carp delicacies. The event served as a wonderful opportunity for people to discover the charm of Wanju's carp while building warm community memories in a lively and energetic setting.

The absolute highlight of the festival was the 'Catch the Golden Carp!' bare-handed catching experience. The competition was particularly intense as a gold prize was awarded to the top participant, making it a representative program that brought pure joy and excitement to the venue.
Following the fishing event, an impromptu carp cooking contest showcased the culinary talents of the participants.
