A Fairytale Hanok Experience: Knotted Cafe Anguk, a Dessert Paradise in Bukchon
Hello! Today, I'm excited to share my visit to Knotted Cafe Anguk, a popular dessert spot near Anguk Station, nestled in the serene atmosphere of Bukchon Hanok Village. This place is all the rage these days, and I finally got to experience it myself!
✨ A Hanok-Themed Store with a Fairytale Ambiance
Located right outside Anguk Station Exit 2, Knotted Anguk immediately catches your eye with its adorable logo and clean exterior. The interior, a modern reinterpretation of a traditional Hanok (Korean traditional house), is truly unique and beautiful.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by warm wooden pillars and rafters, creating a tranquil Hanok atmosphere. The playful doodles of Knotted characters on the walls and the adorable bear-shaped lighting hanging from the ceiling create a magical, fairytale-like space.
With a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options, it's the perfect place to stop by for a date in Bukchon. Despite visiting on a weekend, the spaciousness of the cafe allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

???? A Donut Buffet That Induces Decision Paralysis!
You can't visit Knotted without trying their donuts, right? As you walk into the store, you'll be greeted by a dazzling display of donuts. The colorful visuals and diverse lineup made me feel like I was at a donut buffet.
From their signature Milk Cream Donut to the refreshing Strawberry, chewy Chocolate Pudding Donut, and sweet Kaya Butter Donut, I wanted to try them all and spent ages deciding which ones to get.
When you're unsure what to choose, you can't go wrong with the signature menu items. I opted for the Milk Cream Donut and the 'Sweet Potato Custard Bread.'
Taking a bite of a Knotted donut is an absolutely fantastic experience. The soft texture combined with the rich, creamy filling that melts in your mouth is heavenly. It's a taste that's on another level compared to your average donut. I now understand why everyone raves about Knotted. For those looking for desserts near Anguk Station, you can't beat this place!

☕️ Thought It Was Just a Donut Hotspot, Turns Out It's a Drink Hotspot Too!
Knotted boasts a diverse drink menu, just as impressive as their donuts. From refreshing Americanos and lattes to Knotted's signature Cloud line, there's a drink to perfectly complement your Anguk Station dessert.
I ordered a warm latte, which perfectly balanced the sweetness of the donut. Next time, I'm definitely trying the Cloud Latte. I highly recommend enjoying a drink with your donut! It's no wonder it's famous as a cafe near Anguk Station.

Knotted Anguk is conveniently located right in front of Anguk Station, making it a great addition to your Bukchon Hanok Village itinerary, as well as trips to Ssamziegil, Changdeokgung Palace, and Insadong. It's a space where you can relax and enjoy delicious donuts and drinks, and I had a wonderful time.
