A Late-Blooming Hydrangea Paradise: Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September in Anseong

Hello, this is Jeongmini!
I had a rather long Chuseok holiday this year, so I visited several places. Among them, I went to Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September, located near Yongseol Reservoir in Anseong.
Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September
Address: 353 Yongseol-ri, Juksan-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do
Dates: September 20 (Sat) ~ October 19 (Sun), 2025
Admission: Free
I snapped a picture at the mirror photo zone in front of the entrance. ⚡
Since the address isn't registered on maps, search for the address above to find it.
The parking lot is quite spacious, and there are parking attendants, making it easy to park.
I was amazed that such a beautifully landscaped hydrangea garden is open to the public for free!
Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and rainy on the day I visited, which was a little disappointing.
In front of the entrance, there was a hydrangea garden map and a flea market.
Perhaps because of the weather, many of the stalls were closed.

Pets are allowed, but you must clean up after them and keep them on a leash.
Please take your trash with you.
Smoking and unauthorized picking are prohibited.
Even though the hydrangea leaves were falling due to the rain,
they were larger and more lush than I expected.
Most of the hydrangeas I saw in Jeju this summer were sky blue,
but Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September had many white and pink varieties.
I took a picture despite the bad weather.
The landscaping was better than I expected.
There were many photo zones, making it a great place to take pictures.
The Metasequoia Healing Forest is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the forest.
Tables and chairs are placed under the trees filled with phytoncides,
making it a great place to rest.
I think this is the main photo zone in Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September.
The viewing time is approximately 30 minutes.
Since the parking lot and hydrangea forest paths are all dirt paths,
I recommend wearing comfortable sneakers.
The course is not difficult and only requires walking,
so it seems like children can walk without feeling burdened.
I thought hydrangeas only bloom in summer,
but I learned for the first time that there are hydrangeas that bloom in October.
Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September is open until October 19th this year,
and it is scheduled to be open from September 12th next year.
I recommend Yongseol, European Hydrangeas of September near Yongseol Reservoir, which is a great place for a simple walk before the free admission period ends.
