The Geochang Changpo Garden's free water play area is now open!
It's a popular spot where you can enjoy a refreshing summer without any entrance fee.
The water play area will be operational from July 21 to August 17, 2026, coinciding with the summer vacation season.

Regular closure on Wednesdays.
Changpo Garden features a vast ecological park with walking paths.
During summer, the free water play area is very popular among families.
On weekdays, registration is done on-site, while on weekends and holidays, both on-site registration and online reservations are required.
It is advisable to make an online reservation if you plan to visit on weekends or holidays.
Water Play Area Usage Information:
Operating Period: July 21 to August 17, 2026
Operating Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM)
* Closed every Wednesday and during inclement weather.
Maximum Capacity:
300 people per session (300 in the morning and 300 in the afternoon)
Usage Method:
Weekdays: 100% on-site registration
Weekends and holidays: 150 online reservations per session, 150 on-site reservations.
The online reservation can be made through the designated link.
This year, the water play area has been set up in front of the Changpo Healing Center and the store, rather than at the playground.
With a convenience store nearby, it's easy to buy drinks or snacks, and restrooms are conveniently located.
After parking, the water play area is visible right in front.
Shade structures are installed around the water play area, providing comfort even during sunny hours.
There is ample space for guardians to supervise their children.
The management office and first aid station are located right in front of the water play area for peace of mind.
Changing rooms with lockers are available for safely storing clothes and belongings.
There are also simple shower facilities for rinsing off after use.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Please adhere to the water play area rules before usage.
The water play area features two shallow pools and one deeper pool, suitable for children and elementary school students.
There is a waterslide in the shallow pool, making it even more fun for kids.
Safety personnel are always on duty, ensuring a safe environment.
To enjoy the water play area comfortably, it's recommended to bring swimwear, water shoes, towels, and extra clothes.
After water play, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll in the park and appreciate the seasonal flowers.
There are umbrellas available for rent at the tourist information center to shield you from the sun.
