The Spring Festival in Geochang has begun!
The Changpo Garden is now filled with the scent of blooming flowers.
Tourists are bustling around, enjoying the festival.
The festival features a variety of programs, including silent yoga, mindfulness challenges, pet-friendly healing stamp tours, treasure hunts, and stage performances.
In conjunction with the Spring Festival, the Geochang Mountain Ginseng Festival and the Arimiya Festival are also taking place!
As you enter the main square, you'll find the information center.
Grab a pamphlet to get started!
The Mountain Ginseng Festival offers auctions and experience programs, along with opportunities to purchase ginseng products!
At the Arimiya Festival, you can find various experiences and purchase local agricultural products and flowers.
If you head to the grassy area inside, you'll reach the healing zone!
Here, you can receive a treasure hunt pamphlet!
As you enter, you'll see experience booths right away.
You can participate in the healing stamp experience!
There’s also a photo zone available.
On the main stage in the grassy area, various performances are taking place!
Events and magic shows are happening, which kids will surely enjoy.
The seating looks comfortable and shaded, making it easy to relax and enjoy the show!
At the Hongbu booth, you can rent props for memorable photos.
This festival seems to have paid attention to even the smallest details!
I received a treasure hunt pamphlet from the innermost area!
Different prizes are available based on the number of stamps collected.
If you collect all five stamps, you get a chance to enter a lottery!
I also participated in a healing program.
This experience booth is located in an apple forest, and I found it incredibly fun!
The staff was very friendly and cheerful, making me feel healed while painting.
There’s a place to make herbal tea, where you can choose from three options!
I made a "Sweet Sleep" tea, and the aroma was already soothing.
Next to the playground, there’s a Ferris wheel operating every 30 minutes!
The tour includes a guide who explains while you circle around Changpo Garden.
As I learned about the garden, I saw it in a new light!
There’s also a photo zone and a place for kids to draw!
I participated in the treasure hunt stamp as well.
At various locations marked with signs, facilitators will give you missions to complete for stickers.
The missions are a secret, so come and try them out!
Oh! I recommend bringing some snacks when visiting the flower area.
Food trucks are a must at the festival!
This festival features a variety of food trucks!
This time, they are using reusable containers, which is a great idea!
Geochang is thinking about the environment!
There are convenient spots for food waste disposal and returning reusable containers, making it hassle-free!
I tried beef sushi, sundae, and soup tteokbokki, and they were delicious!
The sundae vendor mentioned that they use high-quality ingredients, and it was indeed chewy and flavorful.
Eating while listening to the explanations made it even more enjoyable!
Changpo Garden is now filled with ibap trees, peonies, Shasta daisies, and irises, creating a beautiful green landscape.
Everywhere you look is a photo opportunity!
Enjoy the spring at Changpo Garden!
I hope everyone has a wonderful time at the Geochang Spring Festival!
