Shinan County's Commitment to Coffee Industry Development

Hello, this is Shinan County.
Due to global abnormal temperatures and climate change, the area for coffee cultivation is decreasing.
However, coffee consumption continues to rise.
Shinan County is proactively responding to these changes.
We are preparing to become a new hub for the coffee industry in South Korea.
To this end, from March to June, we conducted professional training for 30 hopefuls in smart coffee farming, including young people and those returning to farming.
The training covered:
▲ Trends in the coffee industry
▲ Cultivation theory and practice
▲ Pest and disease management
▲ Harvesting and quality control
▲ Field practice
It was designed to encompass all aspects of coffee cultivation.
This training was launched as a follow-up project to an investment agreement aimed at nurturing 'Shinan 1004 Coffee'.
We focused on helping farmers who will be moving into rental smart farms to quickly adapt to the field and ensure stable production of high-quality coffee.
Shinan County expects that the graduates will grow into key personnel in smart farm operations, contributing to the development of a unique coffee industry ecosystem in Shinan.
Additionally, we plan to establish a coffee convergence center near the smart farms, linking the entire process from raw bean production to processing, distribution, and sales.
This will enhance the competitiveness of the 'Shinan 1004 Coffee' brand.
Shinan County will continue to provide field-centered technical support and specialized training.
We are committed to ensuring that 'Shinan 1004 Coffee' grows into a premium brand representing South Korea.
