Have you ever felt heavy-hearted after drinking bottled water or beverages, looking at the mountain of plastic PET bottles piling up?

Even though we do our best to separate and recycle, we often wonder if it’s truly being done properly.

By taking just a little more initiative, we can actively participate in environmental protection and enjoy small benefits as well.

There’s a great way to lighten that heavy heart, and I’d like to introduce it to you.

It’s the Nephron collection robots installed throughout Dangjin City, designed specifically for transparent PET bottles.

Clean transparent PET bottles can be reborn as valuable resources!

The Nephron only accepts clean transparent PET bottles with labels and caps removed.

This is because the quality of recycling significantly decreases if colored bottles or foreign substances are mixed in.

If we can take a little extra time to wash and dry our bottles at home, separating the labels and caps, they can be reborn as more valuable resources.

The high-quality transparent PET bottles collected this way will eventually be transformed into recycled fibers used for making stylish clothes or bags.

Isn’t it amazing and fulfilling to think that the PET bottles we discarded can become new products that someone else will use?

Here’s how to use the collection robots and earn points:

Stand in front of the machine and tap the 'Start' button on the screen.

Enter your mobile phone number for identification.

This process is convenient as it allows you to log in without a separate card, but please ensure you enter your number carefully.

Now, insert your clean transparent PET bottles (or cans) one by one into the opening.

The AI camera will analyze and automatically collect them, so make sure they are clean and free of labels and caps.

Once all items are inserted, press the 'Earn Points' button on the screen.

Points will be credited in real-time based on the quantity entered, with 10 points awarded per item.

You can check the accumulated points anytime by installing the 'Superbin' app on your smartphone, and you can also convert points to cash once they exceed a certain amount.

Additionally, if you have over 2,000 points, you can redeem them for cash through the app or website.

Not only are there Nephron robots for transparent PET bottles, but there are also dedicated ones for cans, which are high-value recyclable resources made of aluminum.

Our small interest and actions can come together to create a greener Dangjin and a cleaner Earth.

Starting today, prepare your clean cans and transparent PET bottles and make use of the Nephron robots. Especially for beverage cans, you can earn 15 points each, so visit the nearest location!

Here are some locations where you can find the Nephron collection robots:
