Time is flying by!

Week 32

At this point, anyone can tell I'm pregnant (snapped by Long).

It's still warm in Korea, and many people offer me their seats when they see me waddling around, which is really sweet.

I often hear, "Are you having a hard time?"

Me: "Nope, I'm fine!" (And I really meant it, back then...)

Long and I had pho (how does she always find the best restaurants?).

Then we went to a cafe.

I got a gift and came home. (I haven't finished reading 'The First Summer' yet. I need to read it before summer ends!)

Heartwarming Scene

And in week 32, I finally started my maternity leave!

My colleagues at work gave me a cake and a gift.

Why are they all so warm and kind? ㅠ,,

I'll be back soon (a lie)!

Week 33

Jeju Trip -

I'm planning to write a separate post about the trip...

Gimnyeong is so pretty, even looking back at it.

Gorgeous Scene

I also got a Brazilian wax ^^.

I wanted to try for a natural birth...

So, I went to get a Brazilian wax for the first time in my life...

It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be (maybe because they were good at it?).

The atmosphere was cozy.

And because I'm generally pretty chill, I just held onto the doll they gave me.

And it was over quickly.

Why... what... is it hard..? Just bear it...

They said it's good to get it done one more time before giving birth.

Impressive sight

Week 34

My body started swelling up like crazy, so

I went for a prenatal massage at a place I was recommended (my friend is the best!).

Throughout the massage, she kept saying my leg swelling was really bad ㅠ.

But she said my upper body was in great condition for my stage of pregnancy,

Which made me feel good.

Happy Time

Starting from week 34, my ribs started hurting when I slept.

Waking up in the middle of the night? I never used to do that, but

Now I wake up screaming, "Ah!"

Especially when I sleep on my left side ㅠ,, why is that,,,

Charming Photo

I went snorkeling in Yangyang with Goni and Sso.

It was a famous snorkeling spot.

But they said the waves were strong

And it was a bit hard to get out of the water, so

I figured if it got too dangerous, I'd just hang out at the beach next to it.

But the waves weren't strong that day

And there were even kids there, so

I put on a life vest and slowly went in.

The water was freezing cold,,, even though it was the end of July!;

Dreamlike Moment

Getting out was tough, but I managed carefully. (Used my muscles)

Heartwarming Scene

The accommodation was Koge Garage.

It was nice and quiet (extremely so).

They also sell pizza on the first floor, and it's delicious!;

How good does it feel to unpack your bags and eat pizza?

Heartwarming Scene

The coffee was good too.

The next day, I woke up early (34 weeks and 4 days)

And went to eat dried pollack soup.

It was a legendary restaurant... (in many ways).

First of all, it was delicious,

But in that heat, there was only one or two air conditioners...

I was literally sweating buckets while eating =_=

Eating a 20,000 won soup

While sweating buckets..?

I didn't think anything of it while I was eating because it was so delicious,

But as soon as I came out, I was so frustrated ㅠ

It was so delicious though.. (there were 35 teams ahead of us.. it took over an hour).

Dreamlike Moment

After eating, we went to BaeBae (gelato) next door.

The pear gelato was amazing.

And it was even cool inside!!

I fully enjoyed the air conditioning that I couldn't feel at the 20,000 won soup place

At the gelato shop (a few thousand won),

And I was happy.

The view was amazing too.

Approved.

Dreamlike Moment

After eating,

I hit up Naksan Beach for some snorkeling,

And on the way back, I bought peaches.

They were about 5,000 won each,

And they looked amazing.

I still think about them.

This year's peaches ㅠ

Heartwarming Scene

Week 35

I went to the hospital,

And at 35 weeks, the baby already weighed 2.9kg…

Because I wanted to try for a natural birth,

The doctor did an internal exam,

And said it would be difficult even if I gave birth now.. (?ㅠ….)

We set a surgery date and decided to check again at 37 weeks.

Impressive sight

I went to Snug with Soyoung unnie after a long time ㅠ

This place is really delicious.

1 dish per person is not enough.

It had been a while since I saw her, and she was surprised at how big my belly had gotten.

We chatted like crazy ㅠㅋㅋㅋ

I received Hayuni's wedding invitation.

We ate ribs, but why aren't there any pictures..?

Mysterious Look

Anyway, that's the end of my daily life (written as a foodie trip) until week 35.

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
