Taking the Bus to N Seoul Tower
Hello! I'm MIZzMO, a mom raising kids.
If you're traveling in Seoul with children, visiting the trendy N Seoul Tower is a must!
It seems convenient to use public transportation to get to Namsan Tower. The bus routes are well-organized, and they feature cute Seoul characters that kids will love. Riding the pink bus is a fun experience too.
Arriving by bus and heading up to N Seoul Tower, the path is a bit steep, and my child was already saying it was tiring, which was adorable. And we weren't even hiking up the Namsan trail!
I used to enjoy the walk from Myeongdong to N Seoul Tower. If your child is a bit more energetic, I recommend walking up.
There are places along the way where you can drink Seoul Arisu water. We refreshed ourselves with cool Seoul water and gained some energy.
The view of Seoul from Namsan is amazing. It's fascinating to see how big, wide, and full of tall buildings Seoul is from the height of Namsan Tower.
Now, Lotte Tower is the tallest building, but the view of Seoul from within nature is quite unique.
We didn't go to the N Seoul Tower Observatory this time because we had a schedule for the Myeongdong Nanta performance later, so we leisurely explored the area around the tower.
I was surprised by the variety of restaurants and cafes inside Seoul Tower! It's been 10 years since I last visited N Seoul Tower after getting married, so it felt new.
There are restaurants, Starbucks, Mom's Touch, Gong Cha, and even a convenience store, so you can easily come here. We ate hamburgers at Mom's Touch, and while the prices were a bit higher than other locations, it added to our memories.
K-pop Demon Hunters are popular these days. My child loves Duffy, as well as Rumi, Mira, Joy, and the Saja Boys. I think Duffy is so adorable too.
There are many Duffy dolls available, with a variety of prices.
My son chose a random Duffy keyring – a tiger and magpie design. The blue or white Duffy designs are random, but he liked them all. Thankfully, we got a N Seoul Tower souvenir at a good price.
My son got the white Duffy! So cute!
Other popular items are N Seoul Tower souvenirs and teddy bear birthday keyrings. And of course, the love locks are very popular too. You should buy one to hang!
We bought a lock at a reasonable price from Daiso.
My child was amazed by the sheer number of locks. He was speechless at the unexpected view.
It has become a culture at N Seoul Tower. Even this is becoming an interior design feature. I wonder if we'll ever find the lock we put up?
We hung ours on the ceiling, in a quieter part of the building. Next time we visit N Seoul Tower with our child, we will definitely try to find our lock again!
Creating memories, one by one, on our Seoul trip with our child.
N Seoul Tower Traditional Culture Performance
The N Seoul Tower Traditional Culture Performance is a permanent performance throughout the year (closed on Mondays).
It takes place from 3:00 PM to 3:40 PM below the Palgakjeong Park.
We were lucky to catch the performance, which starts with Samulnori and includes a Bongsu ceremonial martial arts display. It was very exciting and provided a unique spectacle for our child. If you're planning a trip to Seoul with kids, check the schedule and be sure to see it!
Taking the cable car up to the N Seoul Tower Observatory is also special. We leisurely looked around and came back down. The atmosphere is even better at sunset, making it a place I want to visit again. When the weather is cooler, I'd also like to take a walk on the N Seoul Tower trails.
A Seoul trip with kids: N Seoul Tower - Myeongdong [Nanta] Performance - Myeongdong Shopping makes for a great one-day itinerary. We created new memories with our child.
