Korea Rail Tourism Development Wins Award at CPR Competition

Hello! This is Korea Rail Tourism Development.
The Seoul Crew Office of Korea Rail Tourism Development participated in the '15th Seoul Citizens Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Competition' held at the Seoul City Hall Multipurpose Hall on April 29, and won the Encouragement Award from the Mayor of Seoul.
This award is particularly meaningful as it reflects the practical response capabilities of our crew in emergency situations on trains and the results of our continuous safety training.
❤️ Continuous Efforts for Passenger Safety
Organized by the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters, this competition aimed to promote citizens' first aid skills and foster a culture of respect for life, with a total of 15 teams competing.
The representative team from the Seoul Crew Office conducted a demonstration of emergency response procedures, assuming an acute cardiac arrest situation that could occur on a train.
In particular, they systematically implemented actual on-site response procedures, including ✔️ patient condition assessment ✔️ use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) ✔️ performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), receiving high praise for their efforts.
We are committed to ensuring safety on trains!
The Seoul Crew Office continuously conducts internal CPR and first aid training for its crew members.
We are enhancing repetitive practice and on-site training to enable quick initial responses in the event of an emergency on trains.
This award also serves as a testament to our commitment to passenger safety and the emergency response capabilities of our team.
Korea Rail Tourism Development is always doing its best for the safe travel of passengers.
We will continue to strive for a safer and more reliable railway service!
