If there's a quintessential autumn tree, it would be the metasequoia, with its leaves turning a beautiful orange hue. This metasequoia forest path is located in Nae-dong, Jinju.
Here, along a national highway adjacent to a car-only road, metasequoia trees stand tall for approximately 1.5km, creating a spectacular scene as they beautifully change color.
The orange tunnel created by the magnificently stretching trees evokes admiration from all who see it.
The Metasequoia Road in Nae-dong is perfect for both a scenic drive and a light stroll. Enjoy a drive and take in the waves of foliage rushing past your window.
There is a walking path in the middle section under the trees, so you can park your car for a while and enjoy a cozy autumn walk.
On the day I visited, the sunlight was dazzling, and even the clouds floating in the autumn sky created a truly wonderful scene.
If you want to escape the complicated city and enjoy a quiet and peaceful drive, the Metasequoia Road in Nae-dong is the answer. Although it's not a short section at approximately 1.5km, you'll feel like you've passed through the visually pleasing foliage tunnel in an instant. I highly recommend it as a driving course near Jinju!
