Finally posting about the last day of my Jeonju trip!

I seriously ate so much that I was stuffed! ㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It almost didn't have to be this way...

According to my original plan, I was supposed to wake up at 8 AM, have bean sprout soup (kongnamul gukbap), pack my bags leisurely at the accommodation, and then head to the next destination ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. But I overslept, so I was about an hour and a half behind schedule.

I hurriedly checked out, parked the car at the accommodation, and walked to Waengi Kongnamul Gukbap!

I wanted to take pictures but I was also hungry...

My busy hands!

I didn't know that the bean sprout soup already came with a squid topping, so I ordered an extra one.

I wouldn't have added it if I had known since I had so much to eat that day... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

But I ate it all because I was really hungry...

It was delicious, but I was a little disappointed because it didn't have that nutty flavor + garlic scent that I love about Hyundaiok's soup.

Still, I enjoyed the meal cleanly.

Jeonju is so pretty. I want to live in Jeonju!

(I keep saying I want to live here every time I travel somewhere.)

I wanted to go to Baekilhong for steamed buns and dumplings that day,

but they were on vacation exactly on the day we were planning to go ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

There was so much to eat, but I thought, "It's okay, it's for the best!" and moved on to the next destination, but

I was actually sad ㅠ

I'm still regretting not being able to eat there...

But then I encountered the cheesecake of my life!

ㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

To be honest, the cafe owner seemed a bit brusque...

(I wasn't expecting exceptional kindness, but when I asked about parking support, they immediately said no.)

I wondered if they were tired of customers asking about parking...?

And I wasn't sure if they meant they weren't providing it from now on or because I didn't spend over 20,000 won... It was confusing...

But I think they just don't offer it at all anymore.)

I was a little disappointed,

but I forgot all about it after eating the cheesecake.

Even though I was full, I devoured two slices because it was so delicious.

If I had eaten those steamed buns, I wouldn't have been able to eat two slices of this, right...?

Whew...!

Eating cheesecake while making reservations for the next meal...

Such a glutton...

Next destination: Katsumorijo.

Everyone was raving about how delicious it was, so I couldn't resist!

Especially the comment that it was better than Tonshou really struck my heart.

(I haven't been to Tonshou.)

I've always wanted to go to Tonshou, but

better than Tonshou?

I had to go.

I can't compare it since I haven't been to Tonshou,

but the meat was all tender and delicious!

The miso soup was also delicious, and it was unique because it had konjac in it.

The cream stew was also salty but delicious!

But the problem was that I was too full.

So I got sick of it quickly, and I wasn't sure if it was even delicious anymore ㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ

In the meantime, my partner ordered mochi katsu, but one piece was the best...

A long time ago, I went to Japan and had high expectations for dango,

but the dango sauce was too salty and gross, so I've thought that all Japanese black sauces would be terrible ever since.

But that sauce wasn't bad, and it had a sweet and savory flavor!

On the way to a cafe after going to Katsumorijo~

Jeonju has many beautiful places in every alley.

The trumpet creeper was almost gone,

but I took a picture because it was pretty.

I saw Cheongyeonnu in the distance and it was so pretty, so I decided to go see Cheongyeonnu before going to the cafe.

Actually, I should have just gone to the cafe here...I thought.

Because it's ridiculously hot, humid, and stifling ㅠ

Cheongyeonnu is pretty when you get close,

but Cheongyeonnu looks better from afar.

Old people were lying down there ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

And the last coffee before going home from Jeonju.

It was delicious.

But my partner's choice is always more delicious than mine;

It's the fun of stealing a sip.

Did they order an espresso because I kept stealing sips..?

And I finished with Zico Ba after coming home.

It was delicious. Goodbye, Jeonju!

I'll be back.

Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
