Jeongseon, with its outstanding natural scenery, is the perfect place to create wonderful memories, and the time spent at Jeongseon Ae Pension is filled with pure joy. Let me tell you about a day at Jeongseon Ae Pension, which I highly recommend for group trips!
The entire building in the picture is the group pension. Right in front is an outdoor barbecue area with enough space for groups to use. Plus, you can use the entire property, making it ideal for 20 or more people. The first floor has a large living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The second floor has a spacious attic-style hall and karaoke machine, making it a perfect space to gather and enjoy yourselves. There's also a soccer field right next door, which is great for playing together.
In addition, there's a stream right in front where you can enjoy water activities and catch snails, providing plenty of opportunities to experience the joys of a stream. Just dipping your feet in the water is incredibly refreshing.
An outdoor swimming pool with water quality thoroughly managed daily by a robot is a must, right? Swimming in the clear water is another fun activity you can't miss here.

One of the main reasons I especially like this place is the cost-effectiveness. Even during the peak season, the rates aren't excessive, which is great. Plus, all the various amenities are free to use, and you can feel the warm hospitality of the kind owner. The beautiful stream and cliffs right in front are also part of its charm, making it a place that satisfies all my needs.
This is the detached building that can accommodate groups. The fact that we can use the entire building exclusively is a charming aspect that allows for a private experience.
You can't help but be amazed by the sight that greets you when you open the door. The living room is so spacious! The meticulous upkeep makes it feel timeless. There are two rooms on either side, and the bathroom is next to the kitchen.
The rooms are also larger than expected. The rooms are big enough for six adults to sleep comfortably. The pink wallpaper is the highlight of this room!
The bathroom is also well-maintained. Amenities are provided in large quantities, so there's enough for everyone to use. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and toothpaste are provided, so you only need to bring your toothbrush. Another great thing is that they are very generous with towels. If you need more, they bring them right away.
This is the kitchen. The 3-burner gas stove and large sink are fully stocked with utensils.
This is the second floor of the group room. The attic-like structure is charming. The ceiling is high enough for an adult male to stand upright. This space is large enough for 20 or more people to gather, making it perfect for meetings or recreation.
A karaoke machine is also available. This is another essential facility for having fun together.
Bedding sets are also provided for groups. My company is planning to have a workshop here soon, so I took a closer look as a representative. I took pictures and videos to show my colleagues, and they all loved it.
The second floor, which is much larger than the first floor, is a space where everyone can gather and have fun. It's perfect as a group pension. The surprising thing is that the price was lower than expected, which was another pleasant surprise.
After completing all the special assignments given by the boss, I enjoyed a full day at the pension. First, I changed into my swimsuit because it was hot and had a fun time swimming in the pool.
I had a great time with my friends, swimming and playing fun games. The main pool has tubes and outdoor benches, which are great for playing.
On the way, I stopped by the Hanaro Mart next to the Jeongseon 5-day market and bought meat to prepare dinner. After swimming, I quickly got hungry. I recommend buying groceries in Jeongseon because Hanaro Mart has almost everything you need.
I started grilling the meat in earnest. If you request a barbecue, the staff will come and light the charcoal, which was convenient. We just had to grill.
We had a barbecue party, fully enjoying the day.
The perfectly grilled meat was so delicious that it didn't need any other side dishes. Everyone enjoyed the delicious time, saying that grilled pork belly on charcoal is the best.
It happened to be the Jeongseon 5-day market, so we bought things from the market and continued the party for the second round! We went back to the accommodation for the second round and enjoyed it comfortably inside.
Honest Review
It's already been 15 years since I first became acquainted with Jeongseon Ae Pension. Looking through my photo album, I saw that my first visit was in 2010. Over the years, this place has become special to me.
I think the reason why I've been coming here since my first visit is the warmth. I think I've loved it for so long because of the warmth that I can only feel here. The people I've been with, the time I've spent, all of it has become precious memories that have accumulated over the years.
This is the only place I've taken my children to several times. I went there when my youngest daughter was in middle school, and now she's a full-fledged member of society...
It's also fun to look at the changes in the pension. When you put together the small changes that happen every year, they also become memories.
Now, my mother and the pension owner have become close and treat each other like sisters! It's nice to see them caring for each other, always asking about each other's well-being. That's why I can't help but love it and make it my favorite place to stay...
