Introducing the 7th Geochang Arimia Flower Festival

We are excited to introduce the 7th Geochang Arimia Flower Festival, taking place from May 14th to 17th.
This year's festival, held at Geochang Changpo Park, marks its 7th edition.
The name 'Arimia' is derived from the old name of Geochang, 'Arim' (娥林), which means 'beautiful' and 'flower.'
The theme for this year is 'Crafting the Thousand-Year Arim Town with Moon, Light, and Flowers.'
The festival features a flower exhibition, hands-on flower experience programs, and a local specialty sales corner.
As you enter Changpo Park, the breathtaking flower landscape immediately captures your attention.
The Arimia Flower Festival's exhibition hall is filled with a variety of flowers, immersing visitors in delightful floral scents.
While most carnations and baby’s breath we commonly see are imported, this exhibition showcases domestically cultivated carnations from Geochang, highlighting competitive local varieties.
A welcoming message adorned with lovely flowers warms the hearts of visitors.
The model combining the turtle rock of Geochang Susungdae and the Moon Rock of Geumwonsan offers an insightful experience.
Informative signs at each corner enhance the enjoyment of the exhibits.
Geochang, a city of education, has transformed from humble beginnings to a vibrant educational hub.
Visitors can also admire the mural from the Mari Dunma Tomb and the beautiful Geochang apples, represented as stunning sculptures.
According to local legends, tigers once roamed Geochang until the 1960s.
During the spring festival period, visitors can enjoy a free ride on the observation wheel at Changpo Park.
Come and experience the beauty of the Geochang Arimia Flower Festival!
