Winter Jeju Island Trip
Indoor Activities in Jeju for Kids
During our winter trip to Jeju Island, we were worried about the cold weather and finding suitable places to visit. When touring the eastern part of the island, we visited Robo Battle, a newly opened indoor activity center. My child loved it so much that I wanted to share a detailed review.
This is an exciting place where you can ride and control large robots and even have battles. It's a great place to visit with kids in Jeju. If you're planning a family trip to Jeju, take a moment to stop by and create some memorable moments! ❤️
1. Robo Battle: Indoor Fun in Jeju During Winter
Shinhwa Story Robo Battle is located in Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo City, about an hour east of the airport. It's close to famous attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Seopjikoji, and Pyoseon Beach. Gogh's Garden is also right next door, making it perfect for planning a winter Jeju Island itinerary! We were able to create a fulfilling day trip. :)
Our family checked the weather forecast and, since the morning was clear and the afternoon was cloudy, we went to Ilchulbong Peak early in the morning, had lunch, and then moved to Robo Battle. Upon arrival, there was plenty of parking space, so we parked easily and entered. The operating hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, open year-round without any holidays.

Parking, restrooms, luggage storage available
2. Admission Fees and How to Enjoy
The moment we entered this indoor activity center, my child's eyes sparkled! Perhaps because he's an elementary school student, he was immediately captivated by the robots. The admission fee was surprisingly affordable. It only costs 5,000 won per person, which is very reasonable. Moreover, there are additional discounts for companions and visitors to Gogh's Garden.
Before boarding, you can store your belongings in the baskets provided in the waiting area. Be sure to store any unnecessary luggage before getting on the robot.
3. Spectacular Battle Arena & Giant Robots
The battle arena is decorated to make you feel like you're floating in space. My son was so excited at the thought of becoming the main character in an animated movie! He couldn't stop smiling, anticipating the fun.
My son challenged me, his mom, saying it wouldn't be fun if he rode alone, so I accepted! We each bought a ticket and, with the staff's guidance, chose our favorite robots and boarded.
After a brief explanation of how to operate the robots and safety precautions, the battle began! ✌️
The controls are very simple. You can easily switch directions (forward, backward, left, and right) with the joystick. Pressing the red button on the stick makes sound effects, adding to the excitement of the battle. There are also safety bars and belts, so there's no risk of danger. It's the perfect activity for kids in Jeju! :)
4. Thrilling 1:1 Battles
We gave each other nicknames like Iron Man and Optimus Prime to enhance the immersion! We were so serious about not giving each other any slack. My husband laughed, asking if we needed to go this far, but aren't those who enjoy themselves the best? ????
It seemed like Mom was in the lead overall, but my son won! I thought I had won because the number on the back of the robot changed to 1, but it turned out that it changed to 1 because of the impact. Instead of just pushing, you need to properly crash and shoot lasers!!
5. Adding More Fun to Your Winter Jeju Island Trip
Next to Robo Battle, there is also a Giant XR 4D theater. When we went, it wasn't open yet, so we just took a quick look inside. You might want to add it to your winter Jeju Island itinerary. It's perfect for satisfying your child's disappointment after Robo Battle.
There are also several other attractions, such as the Giant War photo zone and figures, making it a great place to visit with kids in Jeju. Next time, I want to go back with my son and experience both!
Still not satisfied after all this fun? Then enjoy the full course at Gogh's Garden. The three places are located next to each other, making it easy to visit each one. Gogh's Garden is an emotional art theme park that combines Gogh's masterpieces with the beautiful scenery of Jeju, and it's always mentioned as a must-visit place in Jeju during winter. You won't regret going there.
I've introduced an indoor winter Jeju Island travel spot where you can visit and spend time anytime, regardless of the weather. Instead of suffering from the cold wind with your child, head to Robo Battle and create warm and fun memories by having a battle! ???
