First Trip Together: Samcheok and Donghae Adventures with My Love

Hello, it's Moong & Ming! :)
Today's the day for my first overnight trip with Moong!
I'd been looking forward to it so much since we planned it a few days ago, but my body just wasn't cooperating...
The IV drip I got yesterday... is this what they call true dedication?
Until last night, it was a constant back and forth between "I'm going!!" and "No, I don't think I can..." 😥
Kind Moong suggested we see how I felt when I woke up. Thankfully, I felt much better after the IV, so we somehow managed to depart! 🎉 (That expensive IV... it was worth the money... Thank goodness I have insurance...)
Moong made an apple pie!
A man who's good at cooking and baking 😍
The doctor told me to be careful about what I eat, but... how can I resist when Moong made it? 😭
I wanted to devour it all, but I decided to only eat a little bit.
First stop, **Samgojeongmun Restaurant** in Samcheok!
We arrived in Samcheok after a long drive and headed straight here!
Even the fish looks different from the start. 🐟
The restaurant is spacious and the side dishes are so neat and delicious!
It seems like a great place to bring family or older relatives!
It was so delicious, but I couldn't fully enjoy it because I wasn't feeling well 😭
We had the Grilled Fish Set Meal, but it seems like the Soy Sauce Set Meal is also popular!
I want to try that one next time! 😊
Next up, the **Samcheok Sea!**
Oh my gosh, the Samcheok sea...? It's seriously my #1 favorite among the East Sea views! ☝
I wanted to keep admiring the beautiful sea, but because I wasn't feeling well and it was cold, we couldn't stay long and went straight to our accommodation!
Our accommodation, **Sol Beach Samcheok** is known for its amazing views!!
If I go to Samcheok again, I don't need anything else, I just want to go to Sol Beach Samcheok for the view! 😄
Sol Beach Samcheok at night was so pretty too!
And the sunrise from Sol Beach Samcheok... It was absolutely breathtaking!
I happened to wake up early and sat by the window for dozens of minutes, completely mesmerized by the view from dawn until the sunrise 😍
Such an amazing view with the sound of the waves as background music... it was pure beauty.
It was the most healing time during the trip!
Maybe it was even better because I was there with Moong 😊
I loved the views and the atmosphere of Samcheok's sea so much that if someone asks me which sea is the most memorable, I still answer 'Samcheok' without hesitation!
Even the toilet at Sol Beach Samcheok had an ocean view! Haha.
I relaxed and healed at the accommodation, and felt much better, so we decided to do something active on the second day!!!

**Donghae Doddaebi-gol Sky Valley**
Things to do at Doddaebi-gol Sky Valley:
We took a stroll through Doddaebi-gol and experienced being thin, wrote postcards at the slow postbox, and rode the Giant Slide and Sky Cycle!
I think Moong was more scared than I was while riding the Sky Cycle~~ keke.
It doesn't look scary, but it's actually quite frightening!
The ocean view seen amidst the fear is art!!!
And there's an episode related to the slow postbox...
Thinking that I might move in a year, I sent a postcard to Moong's parents' house.
The postcards arrived when Moong wasn't there, so his mother read them all... 😳😳😳 So embarassing... 😳😳😳😳
At Samcheok Doddaebi-gol Sky Valley, you can ride a bike relying on a single rope while enjoying the ocean view, and have a fresh experience!
There are many small games and sights to see inside Doddaebi-gol, so I recommend adding it to your Samcheok trip itinerary 👍
For dinner, Mulhoe (spicy raw fish soup) and Spicy Fish Stew!
A fun day out ending with mulhoe and spicy fish stew marks the end of our first overnight trip and Samcheok adventure. 😊
Moong, thank you for taking care of me while I wasn't feeling well and for driving back and forth. You worked so hard! This is our first trip together and it will remain in my memory for a long time. Thanks! ❤️
