The Jincheon Andong Kim Clan Sacrificial Gate stands as a symbol of the Andong Kim family’s loyalty during a turbulent period in Korean history.
In 1728, during the uprising led by Yi In-jwa, brothers Kim Cheon-ju and Kim Cheon-jang, together with Kim Seong-chu and Kim Seong-ok, formed a militia to defend Jincheon.
All four lost their lives, and their sacrifice was later recognized by royal decree, leading to the construction of this commemorative gate.

Visitors arriving by car can enter the address 775-2, Saseok-ri, Jincheon-eup, Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do into their navigation system.
The site is about a five-minute drive from the Jincheon County Office. There is no designated parking area, so parking safely along the roadside and walking is recommended.
For public transportation, bus number 410 can be taken from the Shinyang 4th District stop. After getting off at the Seongam Elementary School stop, the gate is just a short two-minute walk away.
