Exploring the Hidden Gem of Geochang: Seochul Dongryu Trekking Course

Hello!
Last Saturday (the 9th), I visited a hidden gem in Geochang, the Seochul Dongryu trekking course. The path leading to Sansu Bridge is lined with beautiful ipap trees, creating a lovely atmosphere.
"Seochul Dongryu" - isn’t it a beautiful name? It refers to a waterway that originates in the west and flows east. This trekking course is formed along the Wolsong Valley in Geochang's Buk-sang-myeon.
Starting from Sansu Bridge, I took a leisurely round trip to Wolsong Forest. The entire route runs alongside the valley, making it a flat and easy path to enjoy.
The water flowing through Wolsong Valley is clear and clean, allowing me to feel nature closely with the refreshing sound of water throughout my walk.
As I walked, I noticed azaleas blooming, adding to the spring ambiance.
The scenery of the clear valley water blending with the forest was soothing, and just walking felt like a healing experience for both body and mind.
The sunlight filtering through the green leaves, the phytoncide filling the forest, and the faint fragrance of flowers combined to create a delightful walking path.
Additionally, the trees with budding flowers and various wildflowers, along with the wheat fields encountered along the way, provided small joys offered by nature.
The trail is well-developed with forest paths, valley paths, and deck observation areas, making it accessible for people of all ages to trek comfortably.
It's a great path to enjoy with family, friends, or even alone.
In spring, it is a famous spot for cherry blossoms, in summer, you can enjoy water activities in the clear valley, and in autumn, the foliage spreads out like a painting.
Wolsong Valley's Seochul Dongryu waterway welcomes us with different expressions in each season. Experience it this weekend!
