Must-Visit Places in Goesan County

Experience Healing in the Forest at Kolon Camping Park

I visited 'Kolon Camping Park' located in Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do, to truly heal in nature.

This glamping site doesn’t require much preparation for tents.

Upon arrival, the first thing I felt was, 'Wow, this is really in the forest!'

The entire camping site is surrounded by dense trees, and as soon as I got out of the car, the fresh air brushed against my face.

What I loved most was the 'convenience'.

After parking in the spacious lot and walking a bit, I found a sturdy and stylish Kolon tent perfectly set up on the deck.

There was no need to sweat while carrying camping gear and setting up a tent; this alone made the camping experience a success!

The tent was spacious, cozy, and equipped with clean mattresses and bedding.

After unpacking, the sun began to set.

The night in the forest has a different charm than during the day.

I started preparing for the highlight of camping: dinner.

The beautiful gas lantern lit up the darkening tent deck.

As the lantern glowed softly, the atmosphere around me quickly became more enchanting.

I was already excited at the thought of enjoying delicious food under the lantern's light.

Tonight's menu is grilled pork belly!

I placed the fresh pork belly, onions, and bell peppers on the grill and let them sizzle.

The savory smell of the meat mingled with the forest air, stimulating my appetite.

Next to it, I poured a glass of chilled white wine and set up fresh vegetables and homemade side dishes.

Enjoying a splendid meal in the forest! Why does food taste so much better outdoors than at home?

Especially, wrapping grilled pork belly with roasted vegetables was an experience like no other.

After dinner, I savored a warm cup of coffee.

I ground the coffee beans using my hand-drip set and brewed a fragrant cup.

Sipping coffee in the clear forest air washed away all my fatigue.

Feeling full and relaxed, I took a walk around the campsite.

The soft lights shining between the tents created an enchanting atmosphere, reminiscent of a fairy tale village.

The night view of the forest camping site was truly beautiful.

Kolon Camping Park in Goesan is a place where you can fully experience the beauty of nature and the joy of camping.

It can get a bit chilly at night in the forest, so be sure to bring warm clothes.

I recommend Kolon Camping Park to those who want to enjoy convenient camping and heal in nature!
