Exploring Samsun Mountain Arboretum in Dangjin

During my trip to Dangjin, I visited the Samsun Mountain Arboretum.
A small pond was preparing to bloom with lotus flowers, while the golden daisies were in full bloom, creating a vibrant yellow wave.
Hydrangeas were also beginning to open, making it a perfect spot for an early summer stroll.
Today, I would like to share some highlights from my visit to the Samsun Mountain Arboretum.

1. Suspension Bridge and Forest Sky Path - Golden Daisy Spot
Crossing the suspension bridge and heading up the forest sky path, the first thing that catches your eye is the field of golden daisies.
The bright yellow flowers sparkle in the sunlight, resembling a golden wave.
It was truly beautiful to see them swaying gently in the breeze.
2. Wetland and Ecological Pond
Upon entering the arboretum, the first scenery you encounter is a small pond and wetland.
There is an S-shaped stone bridge in the middle of the wetland, making it a great spot for photos with a lovely view.
During my visit, I saw a family enjoying their outing, with the father catching tadpoles for his child, which felt heartwarming.
Seeing children playing in nature brought a smile to my face.
3. Picnic Area
Between the wetland and ecological pond, there is a resting area.
With ample tables and benches, it was a perfect spot to take a break.
It was also a great place to enjoy a picnic with a packed lunch.
4. Hydrangea Path Walk
I also walked along the hydrangea path.
Although the hydrangeas were still sparse, I could imagine how beautiful the path would be once they fully bloom.
It seems that many more people will visit when the hydrangeas are in full bloom.
5. Wildflower Path
The wildflower area was filled with various flowers, including pansies and zinnias, creating a beautiful flower path.
The combination of the green forest and colorful flowers lifted my spirits throughout the walk.
6. Tropical Greenhouse
The tropical greenhouse was filled with lush green plants.
While the fresh atmosphere was nice, the greenhouse tends to be a bit warm, so I recommend a quick visit.
7. Suspension Bridge and Forest Sky Path View
Surrounding the suspension bridge, white hydrangeas were also blooming beautifully.
Climbing the stairs and crossing the bridge was a fun experience, and I think kids would enjoy it too.
The forest sky path is made of decking, making it easy to walk.
Currently, the golden daisies are in full bloom, creating a stunning golden wave in the wind.
8. Hydrangeas and Panoramic View from the Forest Sky Path
Small hydrangeas were blooming along the forest sky path, blending well with the arboretum scenery.
The panoramic view of the Samsun Mountain Arboretum from the hilltop was truly impressive.
The sight of the green forest and flowers spread out before me was magnificent.
9. Rock Garden View
Looking down towards the rock garden, you can see a pavilion among the trees, surrounded by tall trees.
Especially the pointed trees create an exotic atmosphere.
10. Arboretum Silver Cafe
After my walk on the forest sky path, I stopped by the visitor center café.
This is the Silver Cafe, where seniors from the Dangjin Senior Club work as baristas.
It was a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee.
11. Children's Forest Experience Center
On the way down, I also visited the Children's Forest Experience Center.
It features eco-friendly play facilities like a playground and net climbing structures, making it a great spot for visiting with kids.
I highly recommend this place for families.
The Samsun Mountain Arboretum, located in Dangjin, showcases beautiful scenery with blooming flowers in early summer.
With the upcoming blooming of lotus flowers and the hydrangea path, the golden daisies were particularly stunning during my visit.
It’s a place where everyone, from children to seniors, can enjoy the experience.
If you're looking to enjoy flower viewing and a stroll in Dangjin, I recommend the Samsun Mountain Arboretum for a family outing.
