*Hapyeong Beach to Hanseom Beach: Approximately 1.7km, about a 25-minute walk.
7. Gamchusa Temple: A small temple across the Yeongdong Line railway.

Gamchusa is a small temple with a sea view near Hanseom Beach.
There is a large parking lot in front of the entrance.
Be aware that there is absolutely no shade...cars parked there in the summer can get quite hot. So, I cracked the windows a bit before leaving the car.
Before arriving, you'll see a large stone guiding you to Gamchusa...
Distance to Mangsang Beach: 11.9km
Distance to Cheongok Cave: 0.7km
Distance to Chuam Sunrise Rock: 9.8km
Distance to Mureung Valley: 13.5km
After passing the large stone...and walking along the deck path, you'll cross a bridge over the Yeongdong Line railway.
The railway where trains pass is right below!
If the timing is right, you might be able to watch the train pass while standing on the wooden deck under the bridge.
Follow the signs to Gamchusa, and climb the stairs...
It's about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the seaside where the temple is located.
Something rustled in the bushes near the temple; I wondered what it was...
And then, a glimpse of some animal's rear end flashed by!
Was it a roe deer...?!! Hopefully not some mythical creature?
If you walk a little further down with those bushes on your right, you'll see the ocean~
During peak season, there were guides to help people find their way.
The temple is located near the seaside cliff on the right in the picture!

Legend has it that Princess Seonhwa, the third daughter of King Jinpyeong of Silla, founded the temple. Gamchusa boasts a stunning view next to the rocky cliffs near the sea.

It's a small temple with a great view of the sea... worth visiting if you have plenty of time!
If you're short on time due to visiting other places, it's okay to put it further down on the list.
8. Chuam Candle Rock: Featuring a coastal walking path and suspension bridge.
