Exploring Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park

Located in Yeongok-ri, Jincheon-eup, Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park spans approximately 118,000 square meters (about 35,000 pyeong) and is an experiential nature ecological park. It is a healing spot near the city, created to preserve the pristine natural environment of Manroe Mountain. With its diverse and beautiful natural landscapes and walking paths, it is a perfect place for a light visit.
Upon arrival, a spacious free parking lot welcomes visitors. The area is usually quiet, providing ample parking space and a serene park environment.
As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a picturesque pond that feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The center features an arched wooden bridge, a watermill, and beautifully landscaped greenery that truly provides a sense of healing.
Inside, a vast grassy area unfolds. The grass is well-maintained, making it suitable for children and pets to play freely.
The park has neatly arranged walking paths, making it easy to stroll around. Given its large size, there are various directions to explore, including a water play area, playground, and native plant garden.
Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park also features a free water play area, which unfortunately closed on August 17 this year. However, it opens every summer, so visiting next summer would be a great idea.
Moving past the water play area, a lush forest path appears. The decked path allows for comfortable walking while enjoying the stunning natural scenery. The towering trees create a mystical feeling, making this section quite remarkable.
As you ascend, you reach an open area where you can see the sky. The park is generally steep, so wearing comfortable shoes is advisable. Although autumn has not yet arrived, golden cosmos flowers were already blooming.
Despite being surrounded by dense greenery, the well-constructed paths make it easy to explore and relax, making Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park an attractive destination. In summer, bringing a mat and packed lunch to enjoy under a pavilion is a delightful experience.
This park is also a great place for family visits, where adults can relax in the pavilion while children play at the playground. The playground facilities have been recently renovated, making them clean and modern.
Above the playground, a wildflower garden is spaciously set up, showcasing a variety of seasonal wildflowers. Although the gate may seem closed and misleading, simply opening it allows access.
In August, the wildflower garden at Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park was adorned with colorful blooms. Many flowers displayed vibrant and intense colors, marking the transition into autumn.
With fairy-tale-like natural scenery and diverse flowers, Manroe Mountain Nature Ecological Park is a year-round destination that offers tranquility and unchanging beauty. For those in need of a refresh, a leisurely visit is highly recommended.
