As a repurposed school turned into a cultural space, the ivy-covered green building exuded an exotic atmosphere.
At the entrance, a beautiful path of hydrangeas was in full bloom, and I was immediately struck by its beauty.
I took countless photos! Inside the building, I found the famous pink photo zone known on social media and enjoyed various exhibits in the old classrooms.
There was also a café behind the building, but since I decided to rest at the next stop, I could only take a look.
Third Destination: Myeoncheon Fortress
We arrived at Myeoncheon Fortress, which has a history of 600 years.
The serene atmosphere of the fortress and well-preserved traditional buildings made it a healing place just to walk around.
We explored the guesthouse and the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, and enjoyed the tranquil scenery at Gunjajeong, which is located above the pond.
There was also a famous kongguksu (cold soybean noodle) street in front of the guesthouse, but since I had already eaten lunch, I had to pass this time!
Instead, I took a break with a cool drink at the art café inside Myeoncheon Fortress.
On that day, it was incredibly hot, but thanks to the cool air conditioning every time I got into the taxi, I felt very comfortable.
The driver kept the vehicle pleasant, which I appreciated even more.
Last Destination: Samsun Mountain Arboretum
Finally, we visited Samsun Mountain Arboretum, a representative healing spot in Dangjin.
With over 1,160 species of plants and 23 exhibition gardens, it's a place where you can experience beautiful scenery in all four seasons.
I crossed a stone bridge over a small pond and walked slowly along the trail.
Crossing the swaying bridge was a bit nerve-wracking, but it added a unique thrill.
As I climbed the forest sky road, I saw yellow golden bells blooming like waves, and on the way down, I encountered beautiful hydrangeas, making it a perfect spot for photos.
After walking around outdoors, I was sweating like I had been caught in the rain, but as soon as I got into the taxi, the cool air conditioning welcomed me, and I felt so happy in that moment.
