From Moment to Eternity - Find Your Park
Special Photo Exhibition at Goesan Ecological Museum
November 14, 2025 - February 28, 2026
This exhibition, "From Moment to Eternity," is the second exhibition following the transformation of the Goesan Agricultural History Museum into the Goesan Ecological Museum. It will be enjoyed alongside attractions such as Goe-gang Light Park, Hwaam Seowon, and Goe-gang Waterfall. The exhibition features award-winning photographs from the national park photo contest, capturing moments of light, seasonal changes, and the intertwined existence of humans and nature. We are grateful to enjoy the fruits of someone’s long dedication and effort in one place.
The exhibition is divided into three sections, with the Jirisan character, the Asiatic black bear, greeting visitors at the lobby on the first floor. The three sections include: 1. The Breath of Nature, 2. The Rhythm of Breathing Plants, and 3. The Resonance of Life and Civilization, showcasing national parks, trees and flowers of Korea, people, animals, and cultural heritage.
Jirisan was the first national park designated in 1967, followed by Palgongsan in 2023, and Geumjeongsan is expected to be designated in 2026.
The mornings at Woraksan, the winter scenery of Deogyusan National Park from Hyangjeokbong, and the beautiful nights of Soemauldo are just a few examples of the stunning beauty of Korea's national parks.
Nature lovers anticipate the sunrise at dawn, the frost-covered trees on snowy days, and the misty mornings. However, the long wait, darkness, and cold can make it challenging to venture out. Each work reflects the beauty of the four seasons on the Korean Peninsula, showcasing the effort and passion behind every shot.
The photographs capturing the four seasons of the 24 national parks convey the beauty of waterfalls, valleys, coastlines, and the serenity of snowy days. This exhibition is a rediscovery of our national parks.
Moving to the second floor, the exhibition continues with flowers, trees, people, and cultural heritage. National park merchandise will also be displayed, featuring representative characters like Bandari and Komi. Each national park has designated flagship species that reflect its ecological, geographical, and cultural characteristics.
The second section introduces the trees and flowers of Korea found in national parks. The parks across the country are the best travel destinations to enjoy seasonal changes. The azaleas of Jirisan, the fog and autumn leaves of Hallasan, and the beautiful wildflowers of various parks are highlighted.
The final section showcases people, animals, and cultural heritage. It captures the long-standing relationship between nature and its inhabitants, including animals and insects. Visitors enjoy sunrises, admire wildflowers, and climb cliffs.
The exhibition featuring the vibrant landscapes of the 24 national parks will continue until February 28, 2026. It offers an indirect experience of sunrises from mountain tops, morning sun rising over the sea, and the beauty of snowy landscapes.
The Goesan Ecological Museum is directly connected to the beautiful night view of Goe-gang Light Park. It is recommended to visit around sunset to enjoy both the photo exhibition and the night illumination.
