Join us for a moving experience as we echo the historical cries of victory at Uldolmok Strait!

The 2025 Myeongnyang Battle Festival, held in Haenam-gun and Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, will take place over three days, from September 19th (Fri) to September 21st (Sun).


Festival Schedule & Location

Dates: September 19 (Fri) - September 21 (Sun), 2025

Locations: Ulsuyong Tourist Site in Haenam-gun, Nokjin Tourist Site in Jindo-gun


Celebratory Performance Lineup

This year's Myeongnyang Battle Festival features top artists!

On September 19th (Fri), Sohyang, with her explosive vocal talent, and Kim Junsu, known for his unique stage presence, will perform celebratory stages.

On September 20th (Sat), Sodo Band, who will express the Joseon Navy's battle cries in a modern way, will fill the stage, and on September 21st (Sun), Kim Hee-jae, beloved as a trot idol, will grace the festival's finale.

Digital Convergence Myeongnyang Naval Battle Action Drama Theme Performance: A performance that combines cutting-edge technology and history to recreate the emotion of the Myeongnyang Naval Battle.

Whirlwind Fireworks & Uldolmok Fireworks Show: Fireworks filling the sky above the sea will announce the start of the festival.

Myeongnyang Celebration Show: A variety of stages blending tradition and modernity will unfold.

Digital Convergence Myeongnyang Naval Battle Action Drama Performance: Experience the Myeongnyang Naval Battle vividly with immersive directing.

Random Flash Mob & Cheerleading: Surprise performances throughout the festival grounds will add to the excitement.

‘Best Gyukgun’ Navy Arms Wrestling Competition: A participatory event for visitors to enjoy together, increasing the excitement on site.

Joseon Navy's Battle Cry (Sodo Band): Meet the spirit of Myeongnyang through the intense performance of Sodo Band.


September 21 (Sun)

Creative Street Karaoke: A participatory singing stage for everyone to enjoy.

Youth Song Concert Competition (Finals & Awards Ceremony): A highlight stage where young people compete with their skills.

National Youth Trot Song Festival: A heated trot competition featuring promising talents from across the country.

Myeongnyang Trot Extravaganza (Kim Hee-jae): A finale performance with trot idol Kim Hee-jae.

The Myeongnyang Battle Festival is more than just a festival.

It is a place to honor Admiral Yi Sun-sin's wisdom and courage, and where local residents and tourists can come together to experience history and culture firsthand.
