Europe with a 4-Year-Old: A T'way Air Adventure to Paris!

Hello!
I'm a mom raising a 40-month-old child.
When my husband and I got married, the pandemic was at its peak.
Perhaps that's why our honeymoon was in Jeju Island, and ever since we've been trying to travel abroad with our little one.
This time, we went on a trip to Europe with our 4-year-old!!
It was more fun than I expected,
and more exhausting, lol.
Still, when you return from a trip, you miss it and want to go again, that's just how it is.
Anyway, I hope the trip our family took will be helpful to someone, so I'm going to document it!!
Our family went in early September for 8 nights and 10 days.
Almost one day was spent on the plane due to flight times!
The airline I used was
T'way Air, a low-cost carrier!
We used flight TW401.
It was scheduled to depart at 10:30 AM and arrive around 4-5 PM local time.
It was a flight to Paris,
and T'way Air was using a 777 aircraft that day!
So I wanted to book business class, but...
Only window seats with one seat available were left,
so our family
bought and sat in "Super Premium" seats!
(For additional purchases, refer to the airline's website)
We even went to the lounge with our child,
brought a tumbler and filled it with iced coffee, and went to the gate, but
Delayed.....
Oh no.......
There was a space next to Gate 39 like this,
so our child ran around and played, lol.
Finally, boarding!!!
I sat down in my seat,
and it was like a premium bus seat,
with something to support my calves, so it was very comfortable.
The spacing was wider than regular economy,
and it was so soft, I was very satisfied.
Even the seat next to me was empty!!!!!!
HORAYYY
My child refused to take off their shoes...lol
Saying their feet smell lol
It looks very spacious even for a child to sit, right??
It even has a footrest, so it's nice.
I rode in Super Premium because it's better than regular premium seats,
and I'm more satisfied than with business class, lol.
Looking at the 777 aircraft business class,
it seemed a bit uncomfortable to ride with a child.
I also sit comfortably.
That plastic bag is for trash, lol.
I bought ramen at a convenience store in the morning and got the bag,
and it was very good for putting trash in on the plane, lol.
My son
fell asleep as soon as we took off.
He woke up early in the morning, so he must be tired.
In the meantime, the in-flight meal came out.
T'way TW401 service is
After takeoff - in-flight meal service about 30 minutes later - sales - lights off - brunch about 3-4 hours before arrival - then lights off again lol.
T'way also continues to give water on long-haul flights.
I brought a tumbler and got coffee and filled it with water from the remaining ice and drank it often!
Pork chop steak and bibimbap
Bibimbap comes already mixed.
The taste was not good, so I barely ate it and slept lol.
I already ate a lot at the lounge.
After sleeping for about 3 hours, he woke up
and did some learning activities that I brought
and studied English?
Only up to c....;;
A little bit of video in between
And more English study lol
Just in case, plenty of videos
With things that the child will like!!
As I was playing like that, it was meal time again.
This... I'm not sure, but
They gave it 4 or 5 hours before arrival.
They give a breakfast menu to match Paris time.
I personally liked the beef porridge,
but my son wanted to eat eggs, so I gave him eggs lol.
Yum yum
My son slept for another 3 hours after eating, good!!!!
He slept for a total of about 6 hours on the 14-hour flight!
My husband and I also slept a bit and then we arrived.
(Tiring..................)
I heard Paris is chilly,
but on the first day of arrival, it's suddenly 30 degrees...???
They said it's abnormal weather,
it's really weird.
And then it dropped to 17 degrees the next day...............
Unpredictable European weather
This is the appearance of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport lol.
The airport feels very old.
It took so long for the carrier to come out.....
That's how we arrived in Europe!!!!!
We took a taxi to the hotel!!!
Transportation from the airport to the city is all at a fixed price.
Please note that the price may vary each time.
We moved for 65 euros.
There are also buses and subways that you can take,
but I recommend a taxi if you have a child.
I took the subway and bus while I was in Paris,
and it's difficult with a child lol.
And there are many places on the subway without elevators.........
You have to carry your luggage up the stairs....
Anyway, please keep that in mind and take a taxi comfortably... but there is traffic,
so it took about an hour.
Great tips for going with a 40-month-old child
1. Purchase wide airplane seats in advance!
2. Prepare things to play with - things your child likes
(Colored pencils, colored paper, learning materials, sticker books, Play-Doh, etc.)
3. Download plenty of things your child likes from Netflix, YouTube, etc. in advance.
(In case of sudden aircraft delays or tantrums!)
4. Prepare snacks
(My son likes juice and jelly, so I packed them. -40 months old can pass security.)
5. Prepare a substitute for in-flight meals
(You may not eat in-flight meals. Don't expect much from the taste. Prepare sandwiches or non-perishable foods.)
6. Prepare snacks for mom and dad too, because it's boring!
(I bought caramel popcorn and ate it while watching YouTube)
7. Prepare toiletries & face masks & eye mask for long flights.
(Wash your face with foam cleanser, brush your teeth, put on a face pack, and sleep when your baby sleeps. -Collagen packs are good for about 3 hours, so I recommend collagen)
8. Bring a blanket or long sleeves because the cabin is chilly.
(As soon as I got on the plane, my baby said he was cold, so I immediately put on a cardigan)
9. Bring a tumbler and fill it with ice coffee with lots of ice in the duty-free area lol
I've only written down what I remember,
and I'll add more if I think of anything else.
Anyway, I arrived safely and comfortably at Paris Airport on T'way.
The in-flight meals were just okay,
and they don't give you drinks, but you don't have to drink anything.
I bought a big coffee in the duty-free area and received it in a tumbler,
so I drank it very coolly lol.
And I sliced peaches from home and ate them together on the plane lol
If you eat it all and don't bring it in, you won't be caught in quarantine!
Anyway, this is how our trip to Europe began!!!!!!!!!!!!
