Sobaeksan Mountain
Sobaeksan Mountain, meaning 'small white mountain' among several Baek mountains, has been considered sacred since ancient times and holds numerous historical sorrows and cultural heritages.
Heading southwest from Sobaeksan, you'll find a gentle ridge leading to Yeonhwabong Peak. About 4 kilometers further down, you'll encounter the Second Yeonhwabong Peak.
Sobaeksan boasts majestic scenery, with gentle mountain ridges, endless seas of clouds, and lush forests harmonizing with beautiful valleys to create a spectacle.
Thanks to these wonderful views, many tourists visit every year.
The main hiking trails of Sobaeksan include the course starting from Huibangsa Station in the middle of Jukryeong, passing through Huibang Falls and the Second Yeonhwabong Peak, and the courses going up the valleys of Gungmangcheon Stream in the north and Jukgyecheon Stream in the south.
Whichever direction you choose, you'll encounter magnificent scenery, so be sure to climb Sobaeksan this weekend.
Doraksan Mountain
Doraksan Mountain is a rocky mountain nestled between Sobaeksan and Woraksan Mountains.
Uam Song Si-yeol himself named the mountain Doraksan, meaning that there must be a way to attain enlightenment, and there must also be joy in it.
Currently, a portion of it is included within the Woraksan National Park, making it great to explore together.
With the mountain in the backdrop, Sainam Rock to the north, and Sangseonam, Jungseonam, and Haseonam Rocks to the west, you can enjoy even more beautiful scenery as 4 of the 8 scenic wonders of Danyang are adjacent to it.
You can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Danyang by climbing the three representative trekking courses: Doraksan ~ Jebong Course, Doraksan ~ Chaeunbong Course, and the final Naebonggi Course.
Among them, the Jebong Course offers the widest view of the natural scenery around Doraksan, and you can see beautiful pine trees and bizarre rocks that capture the eyes of visitors along the trekking path, so be sure to explore it.
