Deokmingout Season 4: Exploring Busan!

Deokmingout is back for its 4th recruitment, and this time, we're heading to Busan!
Our journey to help teenagers discover their true passions
begins its fourth adventure.
The 2025 Youth Passion Discovery Group <Deokmingout>, organized by the Yeongdeok Culture & Tourism Foundation,
is a 'theme-based exploration project' where teenagers can discover their own interests and aptitudes,
rather than just a simple field trip.
<Deokmingout>, which has explored different themes from the 1st to 3rd sessions,
will head to Busan in August with the theme of 'Ocean'.
This 4th exploration offers a chance to see, hear, and experience the integration of ocean, science, ecology, and future technology.
Any middle and high school students residing in Yeongdeok can apply.
What is 'Deokmingout'?
'Deokmingout' is a term derived from the neologism meaning 'to reveal my passion, my taste to the world',
and it is a program where teenagers in Yeongdeok experience various career paths and possibilities
based on their interests, aptitudes, and hobbies.
Deokmingout 1st Session _ Lecture at Sobaeksan Observatory
It has been well-received for discovering 'what attracts me' and 'what field suits me' through travel and exploration,
and for providing opportunities for self-understanding and experience-based career exploration beyond just schoolwork.
How was the previous exploration?
Deokmingout is organized around a different 'theme' for each session.
It has been planned with a clear theme to expand the horizons of teenagers,
rather than simple tourism.
1st 'Space' Edition
We visited Sobaeksan Observatory and Yecheon Astro-Space Center to experience the mysteries of stars and the universe.
2nd 'Art' Edition
We experienced the world of modern art and crafts at the Cheongju National Museum of Modern Art, Daecheongho Museum of Art, and pottery workshops.
3rd 'History' Edition (Planned)
On July 19-20, we plan to travel to Seoul to explore the National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbokgung Palace,
and the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History.
Each different exploration includes explanations, experiences, and participatory programs beyond simple viewing,
allowing teenagers to discover the feeling that 'this field might be my path?'
What is the schedule for this 4th 'Ocean' Edition?
On Wednesday, August 6, 2025,
the 4th exploration of <Deokmingout> will finally be a time to meet 'the sea' and 'science'.
