They distributed promotional leaflets to residents

visiting the traditional market,

providing information on various programs

and application methods supported by the task force.

Additionally, they encouraged residents to

actively report any neighbors in need

to the Administrative Welfare Center or the Task Force.

They emphasized the importance of community

interest and participation in identifying welfare gaps.

The Jido-eup Welfare Task Force provides

various tailored welfare services for low-income

and vulnerable groups, including:

💡 Fluorescent light replacement

🚰 Water pipe and toilet replacement

🛒 Daily necessities support

They also focus on urgent issues such as

resolving living inconveniences, improving living conditions,

identifying crisis households, and linking welfare services.

The task force aims to ensure that residents

can truly feel the benefits of these welfare initiatives.

Kim Yong-beom, the head of the Welfare Task Force, stated,

"We will continue our on-site promotions and efforts

to uncover welfare gaps so that no resident is left

without assistance due to lack of knowledge about support systems."

He added, "We will pay close attention to even the smallest inconveniences

in daily life to provide practical help to those in need."

Song Hyun-jung, the head of Jido-eup, remarked,

"The Welfare Task Force is a reliable partner

that cares for the vulnerable neighbors that administrative services

may overlook."

He emphasized the importance of cooperation between public

and private sectors to swiftly resolve living inconveniences

and create a safety net where no one is excluded.

The Jido-eup Welfare Task Force will continue

to carry out outreach promotional activities and

field-centered volunteer work.

They plan to expand efforts to uncover welfare gaps

and support vulnerable groups.
