Autumn in Chungnam was truly beautiful.

The happiness that yellow brings is a gift of nature, making autumn even more stunning.

In the fall of 2025, Chungnam felt like a place overflowing with beauty, painted in yellows and reds.

Among the many places I visited, I want to share the joy of yellow by introducing some famous ginkgo tree spots.

This year, I've been to the Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road more than five times!

The photo above shows the mural street of Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road, which I visited on October 17th.

There are many mural photo zones, so you can fully enjoy taking various pictures.

Then, on November 8th, my visit to Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road gifted me with the beauty of gradually turning yellow amidst the lush greenery.

From that moment, my heart started racing! Hehe.

I kept wondering when it would turn completely yellow, and before I knew it, I had visited several times.

Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road, always a pleasant and healing place, has been selected as one of Korea's most beautiful street tree paths, loved by people all over the country, which is why I adore it too.

Unlike the greenery of Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road, Hyeonchungsa Shrine, which I visited on November 8th, was already 100% colored, surprising me.

I learned this year that the ginkgo trees at Hyeonchungsa are younger, so they turn color earlier and their leaves fall faster.

I was so happy to see the bright yellow ginkgo trees, like receiving a surprise gift, and I had a lot of fun.

About ten days later, on November 17th, Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road was a huge hit!

The ginkgo leaves, almost 80% colored in bright yellow, started falling due to the sudden cold weather, and the sight of them flying in the wind was so beautiful.

People who visited that day cheered and were really happy.

I was so excited that I hopped around like a puppy! Or a rabbit? Hehehe. It was a day full of joy.

The color of the ginkgo leaves was so bright yellow that day that it was almost blinding.

How could I not love Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road?

And then, two days later, on November 19th, even more leaves were falling at Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road.

I had a fun photoshoot with an umbrella that day.

That's how I made another memory and spent a happy autumn trip.

Gokgyocheon Ginkgo Tree Road is beautiful even when many leaves have fallen, so be sure to visit soon.

The happiness that yellow brings seems to create a special surge of energy.

The reeds around Gokgyocheon also add to the autumnal atmosphere.

And Seosan Hyanggyo, which I visited for the first time this year, was so beautiful that I was amazed!

I was impressed and exclaimed, 'The courtyard of Joseon was this beautiful!'

The harmony between the joy of yellow and the beauty of Joseon architecture was unparalleled.

The ginkgo tree at Seosan Hyanggyo is almost 500 years old, and the serene atmosphere and the beauty of Joseon architecture are doubled there.

Seosan Hyanggyo, which gave me happiness throughout my stay, moved and captivated me with its beauty, and it was the inner courtyard I really wanted.

Another famous ginkgo tree spot is the old 1100-year-old tree next to the guest house in Dangjin Myeoncheon Eupseong.

It is designated as Natural Monument No. 551.

This ginkgo tree has a legend: During the Goryeo Dynasty, General Bokji-gyeom, a founding contributor, became critically ill. His daughter, Yeongrang, prayed for a hundred days on Amisan Mountain. On the last day, a deity appeared and told her to brew and serve Dugyeonju (azalea wine) and plant a ginkgo tree with devotion to cure him. Yeongrang followed the deity's instructions, and the general miraculously recovered.

The two old ginkgo trees are being protected with supports.

When I visited on November 15th, the autumn foliage was about 80%.

Some ginkgo leaves were starting to fall.

Below the ginkgo tree next to the Myeoncheon Eupseong guest house, you can see Gunja Pavilion.

This place is also visited by many people in the spring when beautiful cherry blossoms bloom.

It's a place where I look forward to spring after autumn has passed.

The 1100-year-old ginkgo tree, a living legend that has been with the history of Dangjin Myeoncheon Eupseong, had people writing their wishes on cards and attaching them around the tree.

I also wished for the health and well-being of my family to this old tree, which seems to have mysterious powers.

The place where this ginkgo tree is located is also a stamp tour location for Dangjin Myeoncheon Eupseong.

You can also get a stamp tour stamp by visiting Goljeongji together.

There were five ginkgo trees in Goljeongji as well.

I've introduced three ginkgo tree attractions worth visiting for an autumn trip to Chungnam.

Take a walk through the ginkgo tree attractions in Chungnam in the fall and create golden memories.
