To book a picnic table, search for "Cheolguso Store & Picnic Table" on Naver.
Reservations are recommended during peak season and weekends.
I visited on a weekday without a reservation and there were plenty of spaces available.
When you arrive near Cheolguso Valley,
park on the side of the road.
Walk up a little bit and you'll see a bridge next to CU Pension.
Cross the bridge and you'll find a sign for Cheolguso Valley.
✔️ There are two types of rentals: picnic tables and regular tables. Dog-friendly zones are available (Zone C).
✔️ The standard capacity is 4 people, with a maximum of 5. There is an additional charge of ₩10,000 per person per day.
✔️ Picnic table hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
✔️ Cooking is allowed at the picnic tables! You can bring your own food.
We bought food from outside to eat there :)
They also sell pork belly and rent out burners and pots.
Scissors and tongs were also available for rent :)
There is a tube inflator available.
Life jackets and tubes are available for rent.
The Cheolguso store sells
water play equipment and disposable items.
There's a self-service ramen machine and food delivery is also possible.
There are restrooms available.
Restrooms are often a problem when traveling to valleys,
but there is one at the entrance before the suspension bridge :)
There are safety personnel stationed throughout Cheolguso.
You can go down to the valley after crossing the suspension bridge.
Cheolguso is a snorkeling hotspot!
Cheolguso has varying depths,
and the main valley that is often seen on social media
gradually gets deeper, making it fun for both adults and children
to snorkel.
The water is so clear that you can see fish
when sitting on a tube.
The water is very deep in some areas,
so the safety personnel make sure you wear a life jacket.
Life jackets are available for rent at the store, so be sure to get one.
You can see the fish in the clear water, right? :)
You can see schools of fish when you look at the water.
It's fun to catch fish!
Bring a net, collecting tool, and collecting container~
