Chasing the Sunset at Tando Port: A Beautiful Evening Getaway

※ Visited in 2024.
After camping the day before, we had dinner and went to a cafe nearby. Feeling like going straight home was a waste, we decided to catch the sunset before heading back.
Luckily, there was a well-known sunset spot nearby: Tando Port!
I remember seeing Jeon Hyun-moo visit this place to watch the sunset on the Korean TV show 'I Live Alone'.
Parking was easy as there was ample space.
I was surprised by how many people were there.
We parked the car and walked towards the sea at Tando Port. The sunset was just beginning!
The tide was receding, revealing the sea path.
Getting closer would have been perfect for taking Instagram-worthy photos, but my friend and I were a little scruffy, so we decided to enjoy the sunset from a distance.
Many people were sitting on the steps.
We found a spot and sat down too.
There were also quite a few people with professional camera equipment and drones.
How could you *not* bring a camera with a view like this?!
If someone confessed their love to me while watching a sunset like this, I'm 100% sure I'd say yes! hahaha
The red sun was incredibly clear.
There aren't many days in a year when you can see a sun like that!
We're so lucky!
After the sun had completely set, my friend took a picture of me taking photos of the sunset.
I like how my hands look long in the photo lol.
I took some photos with and without adjusting the exposure.
I liked both, so I decided to upload both.
The sea path was really open, and a lot of people were walking on it.
I wondered if it was safe since it was getting dark.
On the opposite side of the sea, the moon had risen.
The left photo was taken with my Galaxy S23, and the right one with my friend's Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Crazy!
Finally, I tried taking a photo with a darker exposure.
It ended up looking like a silhouette photoshoot for a random couple.
If that's you, please leave a comment...
I'll send you the original photos lol
Goodbye, Tando Port!
I'll come back to see the sunset again~!
While walking to the parking lot, I kept turning back to take more pictures because I didn't want to leave.
The photo below was taken with an SE.
It had been a while since I properly enjoyed a sunset.
Since it was mid-October, the wind became quite chilly after the sun went down.
Especially the sea breeze was colder.
If you're going to Tando Port to see the sunset, except during the summer, a jacket is definitely essential! haha
