March 1st, 2025

Supposedly written on: September 19th, 2025

Stopped writing halfway, trying again: September 22nd, 2025

Said I wrote it, but didn't. Today's the real day: September 23rd, 2025

Everything so far was a lie, today's the actual writing day: September 25th, 2025

You might believe that, but it's all BS. The real one is: September 26th, 2025

It was a long weekend for Independence Movement Day

+

Celebrating my birthday & Minhyung's birthday!

I went on a trip.

Actually, it was supposed to be just Seyeon and Minhyung's trip.

But I think it was two weeks or a week before...

I just asked to tag along.

And I did!

I am a J (Type A personality)

But on the first day of leaving...

Friday, 10:17 AM train... LOL

I pulled a "Shanghai."

*Shanghai: Missing my flight back to Korea from Shanghai. (See reference blog)

환상적인 장면

The train was at 10:17 AM, but

I arrived at Seoul Station at 10:16 AM.

Seoul Station veterans know that

The Airport Railroad Station - KTX Station

Is a crazy section where you have to go from 지하 7층 (underground level 7) to 지상 2층 (ground level 2)

You know you can't make that in 1 minute no matter what you do.

How pathetic is the sight of someone running to Seoul Station knowing they'll miss their train?

After delivering this information, I commit suicide out of guilt.

This travelogue ends here.

Just kidding!

While going to Seoul Station, I refreshed the KTX app like crazy,

But nothing came up.

So, as soon as I got off at Seoul Station,

I canceled my train ticket

And immediately booked a Seoul-Busan bus.

I headed to Gangnam Express Bus Terminal.

And... the butt-hell began.

아름다운 풍경

Getting analyzed on the way to Busan.

Stopped at a rest stop.

Do you know the saying, "You can't sight-see without eating?"

I just made that up.

My brunch.

Back on the bus.

Woke up from a nap.

Shibal (damn it)

Fell asleep again.

Shibal (damn it)

SHIBALLLLL!!! (DAMN ITTTT!!!)

How long did it take?

5 hours and 30 minutes.

R.I.P. to my butt.

I couldn't delay and immediately boarded the Busan subway to meet my friends who had arrived in Busan earlier and were already having fun.

Scratching my head

I arrived in front of my friends, feeling awkward.

Welp...

Didn't even get to see Jeonpo-dong.

From now on, my real trip starts~^^♡

즐거운 순간

Came to eat rib stew.

With Daesun soju.

It was spicy and delicious LOL

My friend Seddongguri made rice balls all round and cute.

After eating, we went to our accommodation to drop off our luggage.

The accommodation was in front of Gwangalli LOL

Came back out to see the ocean.

LOL

My friends are taking pictures diligently.

My friends took pictures of me too.

Expert in awkward poses.

But what kind of effect is this???

I didn't want this effect.

Weird.

There was something that looked touristy, so

I did something.

So pretty.

Anyway, for the second round,

We went to a bar that Minhyung wanted to go to.

Came to eat 회 (sashimi) lol

즐거운 순간

Gwangalli (Gwangalli Beach)

Tried to compare the taste with Daesun,

But I don't remember the taste.

But I think Daesun was better.

Fiercely eating!

Back at the accommodation for a birthday party lol

(Actually did it the next day, just took pictures)

My birthday and Minhyung's birthday are one day apart lol

Only Seyeon is annoyed.

But that's not my problem.

Back at the accommodation, we put on face masks together,

Looking like we're taking care of anti-aging like thirty-year-olds.

Three components that make up a girls' night:

Jim Beam Highballs and Home Run Balls,

And Divorce Attorney Shin...

But I actually

Don't really like content that only pursues dopamine.

I just watch it because of my friends.

But I guess I'm addicted to dopamine.

We talk while staring at the screen without making eye contact.

That Demian book is the one I brought to read on the train,

But Lee Seyeon woke up early in the morning and was reading it.

Kim Minhyung's reaction was so funny ㅜㅜㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ

Anyway, after that, we woke up and had brunch on the second day.

소중한 기억

Suyeon Best Pork Rice Soup restaurant.

There was a wait,

But the turnover rate at rice soup restaurants is fast.

We ordered braised pork belly and braised pork rice soup.

So delicious.

Hmm, but

I hope Minhyung doesn't say he's a big eater anywhere...

Minhyung ordered intestines rice soup, and I ordered braised pork rice soup,

But we were switching our menus with each other?????

I just eat whatever I'm given, so I didn't know...

Really, ㅠ I just thought braised pork rice soup also comes with intestines...

That wasn't it????

화려한 장면

Gwangalli in the daytime.

The weather is cloudy and rainy,

So the scenery is a bit crap ㅎ

Saw a dog walking.

So cute.

Tail wagging.

I think we went to all the souvenir shops in Gwangalli.

Bought a Wawa 109 from memory...

Letters from memory...

I often bring them when I meet my friends,

But I often forget to use them.

That day, I bragged about my purchase to Minhyung and Seyeon and said,

"I'll write this for you next time we meet!"

But I still haven't used it.

Lol

But I think they forgot too?

They're not saying anything.

I'm Lucky Sojeong~

Suddenly came to a cafe.

특별한 순간

Suddenly took a life four-cut photo.

Suddenly came to a 막창 (grilled pork intestines) restaurant too.

Famous Haesung Makchang.

I ate this 막창 (grilled pork intestines) with soju too lol welp

Am I an alcoholic lol

Unexpectedly, I think that 곱창전골 (곱창 hot pot) was crazier than the 막창 (grilled pork intestines).

Fried rice...

Mixing Mixing

Huh?

All three of us got drunk and

Went to a karaoke in Busan.

But all three of us are crazy about K-pop.

Never miss ad-libs.

즐거운 순간

Second round:

Clam soup and Mulhoe (cold raw fish soup)

I don't remember the name of the restaurant...

Just came in while passing by ㅎ

Came to a supermarket to buy snacks to eat at the accommodation.

Said I chose Jochung Yu-gwa (Korean traditional sweets)

I think I ate all the bad luck I'll eat in my life that day.

My Jochung Yu-gwa keeps getting omitted at the checkout counter and is going somewhere.

SSIBAL (FUCK)

Jochung Yu-gwa is so delicious?

Lee Seyeon said she wanted to eat bread when she was drunk,

And she really went to Tous Les Jours that day and insisted on buying sausage bread, even though I tried to stop her.

Can you be so stingy with one bag of Jochung Yu-gwa?

I can't live with this injustice SSIBAl (FUCK)

But I bought it ㅎ

Anyway, we had a birthday party at the accommodation lol ????????

But who bought the crab stick in the picture..?

Anyway, we ate a lot outside

And we ate a lot inside too.

Right.

The next morning.

It's weird, guys.

We decided to make a reservation at Tonshou and wait,

Why are we at Haidilao?

멋진 사진

They have expectant expressions, but all three of us look a bit embarrassed.

Haidilao Busan Station branch

Guys who have never been to Haidilao before.

We were going to go to Tonshou, but there's no Haidilao in Cheongju,

So I think they suddenly wanted to go here.

But in the meantime, they didn't know what to order,

So they looked at me, asking me to do it. It was cute lol

Anyway, we ordered a lot and ate it.

And Busan Haidilao birthday party performance

These people...

Their class is different.

I should have left a compliment on the customer center.

I've only seen quiet birthday parties in Seoul,

But the hot birthday party dance show of Busan men (actually Chinese).

"It's going to be crazy."

No lol and

He asked me to do a birthday party because he wanted to,

Why is he so embarrassed?

He's clearly enjoying it,

But his embarrassed acting is so hypocritical.

Anyway, we parted ways at Busan Station.

Actually, I went standing up... lol

It was butt-hell on the way here, but?

The end of the trip that was just about eating~

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
