As summer arrives, water play parks have opened across the province. In Cheongju, the laughter of children fills the air at the newly opened water play park.

The Cheongju Children's Water Play Park will operate from July 11 (Saturday) to August 30 (Sunday) for a total of 51 days.
Operating Hours: Tuesday to Sunday
Three sessions daily (Session 1: 10:00-11:45 / Session 2: 13:00-14:45 / Session 3: 15:00-16:45) with 45 minutes of play and 15 minutes of rest.
The park is closed every Monday for cleaning and water quality management.
However, it will operate normally on Monday, August 17, and will close on Tuesday, August 18.
Reservations can be made online or on-site via the Cheongju Integrated Reservation System.
Reservations are limited to 30% of the total capacity and are only available for Cheongju residents.
On-site registration is open to everyone, regardless of region.

Reservation times differ by water play park, but at Life Nuri Park, reservations begin at 2 PM.
The water play park features a giant whale, also known as the whale playground, with various water facilities.
The maximum water depth is 28 cm, making it ideal for preschoolers.
Cool water streams pour from the whale's mouth and tail, creating the sensation of a whale jumping out of the sea.
There are also fun attractions like a cute octopus slide and seesaws.
Weekdays offer a more relaxed experience compared to weekends, and swimwear (rash guards) and hats are required for entry.
Aqua shoes are recommended, and infants must wear waterproof diapers.

Water quality management is essential, and a water quality status board is placed at the entrance.

For those uncomfortable on the ground, tables and chairs are available for a more convenient resting experience.
There are also tiered seating areas with shade, offering plenty of space to relax.
Alcohol, smoking, and cooking are prohibited in the water play park, and visitors must take their belongings and trash with them.
Changing rooms and showers are available for a quick rinse before changing clothes.
While we strive for safety, medical support is available at the medical assistance booth in case of emergencies.
