A Trip to Jeonju Hanok Village: History and K-Pop Fusion!

Jeonju Hanok Village
We chose Jeonju, about a 3-hour drive from Daegu, for a long holiday, hoping to avoid traffic and find a place our child would enjoy!
Admission was required: 3,000 won for adults and 1,000 won for children.
We were looking at a portrait of King Sejong the Great.
Seeing the face of King Sejong, who created the Korean alphabet, up close was deeply moving.

It was such a fun exploration of Joseon dynasty history!
Hearing the explanations in person, I was struck by the greatness, dignity, and wisdom of our ancestors who strived to protect our culture! It was a moment of realization when I considered the meticulous spirit of Korea, even in placing each sheet of Hanji paper.
Hanbok Rental in Jeonju Hanok Village
It rained, so we rushed through our sightseeing.

Since it rained, there were no mosquitoes, but for those visiting in the future, be sure to bring comfortable sneakers and mosquito patches or insect repellent just in case!
We rented a gat (traditional Korean hat) and Hanbok for our son, paying 40,000 won for a 3-hour rental.
Ending my Jeonju Hanok Village trip review with a funny picture of my son in a gat!
