A Special Healing Outing with the Culturally Vulnerable

A Special Healing Outing with the Culturally Vulnerable
The Imja-myeon Community Social Security Council in Sinan-gun
held a special experience activity for culturally vulnerable residents in the area:
‘Backpack On! Free Travel!’
This outing provided unforgettable memories and a time for recharging
for neighbors who don't usually have many opportunities for outside activities.
From 2-year-old infants to 82-year-old seniors,
various residents, including multicultural families and senior citizens living alone, participated,
creating a warm space for intergenerational communication.
Participants experienced:
Apgae Bonsai Garden
Mokpo Marine Cable Car
1004 Yacht Tour
and fully enjoyed the beautiful nature and special moments.
Council members who accompanied the event provided meticulous care,
including transportation support, safety management, and health checks,
playing a reliable partner role so that residents could enjoy the trip comfortably.
This program, which started last year with great response,
was operated twice in the first and second half of this year,
achieving the significant result of being selected as the
2025 Sinan-gun Welfare Foundation's Excellent Welfare Program.
A day that shone even brighter together,
Sinan-gun's warm welfare journey continues.
