A Relaxing Summer Getaway: Hajodae and Hyuhyuam in Yangyang, Gangwon-do

After a leisurely morning and a late lunch, we headed to Hajodae. We parked the car in a parking lot near Hajodae and took a moment to look around.
We followed a lush forest path up the deck stairs, which led us to a pavilion. The climb wasn't long, but it felt heavy, perhaps because my legs haven't fully recovered. We slowly made our way up and rested for a while in the pavilion, enjoying the cool breeze and the scenery of pine trees perched atop the cliffs.
Leaving the pavilion, we walked towards the lighthouse. The view that unfolded before us was like a painting. The deep blue East Sea, the white lighthouse, and the pine trees rooted on bizarre rocks created a breathtaking scene.
Next, we visited Hyuhyuam.
Hyuhyuam, which we reached after leaving Hajodae, welcomed us with the clear East Sea scenery and a refreshing sea breeze.
The sound of waves crashing against the rocks was like a heartbeat. The wind that brushed against our faces was cool enough to make us forget the heat, and it even cleared our minds.
What was particularly impressive was the sight of the seagulls. As if by agreement, they gathered facing the same direction. They stood their ground even when the waves crashed against the rocks.
The blue sky, clear sea, and freely blowing sea breeze at Hyuhyuam made this summer vacation a special memory.
After visiting Hajodae and Hyuhyuam, we returned to our accommodation. Our daughter and son-in-law headed to the Ocean Play swimming pool to enjoy a fun time in the water.
My partner and I took a leisurely stroll around the accommodation, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel scenery, harmonizing with nature and the sea breeze, added to the joy of the trip.
In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious meal together at the outdoor barbecue area, watching the sunset. The meal with family, surrounded by subtle lighting and a good atmosphere, remains a happy memory.
