As soon as I arrived in Korea, I was busy!

I arrived at 11 AM on Thursday, checked into Aloft Gangnam, ate *sundaegukbap* (blood sausage soup) and *hoenaengmyeon* (spicy raw fish noodles), and then went to the hair salon for a perm – my first in a year.

Bright Future

I ate a huge meal before heading to the salon, thinking I'd be there a while, which turned out to be a good idea. I went to the salon at 3 PM and didn't leave until after 9 PM!

I finished reading a whole book at the salon.

After getting Eun-young's hair cut as well, we tried to grab dinner, but everything was closing up. So, we ended up going to Kanbu Chicken, which stays open late, for a combined dinner and late-night snack.

Peaceful Scenery

We enjoyed our meal, and then I received the package that had been delivered to Eun-young's place.

By the time I unpacked and organized everything in my room, it filled an entire suitcase.

Charming Photo

That's how I spent my busy first day back. Taking the first flight to Gimpo in the morning is great because it gives you the whole day to use!
